Resident Evil Revelations vs Uncharted Golden Abyss Graphics

I felt this was a natural comparison as both are technical showcases for the system it's on, both bring console like experiences to the handheld, both are third person shooters, and both are realeasing this month.

Here's some video's comparing both games to their console counterparts (Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares and Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception), and trust me seeing the games on the actual devices screen is even better.

Personally I found Uncharted to have superior colour, with bright beautiful scenery, superior textures, and the environment seemed a lot less cramped. Resident Evil I found had superior lighting and shader effects, better character models plus the 3D effect that goes even further past Nintendo's standard is very cool. Both games are very impressive though and it's tough to give either game the full edge.

Write down your opinions, but please no, 3DS is $H1T VITA IS WAY BETTER, or RESIDENT EVIL DESTROYS. Just write down what you think is better and for what reasons. Both games look amazing and near their console counterparts and I can't wait to get my hands on Resident Evil tomorrow.

Uncharted by far any sane person can tell, however graphics are not everything..

It's pretty pathetic that RERev is better looking than every Vita game maybe outside of Uncharted even though Vita hardware is supposed to be so much more powerful. I'd rather have RERev though because it's a better game.

Uncharted GA is the better looking game, but I have a feeling Revelations qill be more enjoyable.

Anything on the Vita will look better for the screen alone. But I was still impressed by the character models in the demo for Revelations.

They both look good, by handheld standards.

In terms of control, I just don't see myself controlling RE:R and having fun at the same time.

A second analog is direly needed.....BUILT IN that is. :P

Yeah pretty much Golden Abyss looks better overall, through personally I like Revelations looks more in terms of the setting and how the lighting is use and such.

I like Revelations graphics more. Uncharted on Vita, from what I've seen, looks too ugly. Some of da foilage just looks so eww.

Uncharted GA has better graphics, but RE: Revelations still looks gorgeous, with the perfect atmosphere and great lighting.

Having played both games, this is what I have to say:

If I were to play Revelations with the 3D off, I would definitely say UC has the upper edge (UC has really vibrant colors, especially with Vitas AMOLED screen.).

But, with the 3D on full blast (and 3D setting on very strong), RE:Revelations just blows UC out of the water.

You just have to play Revelations yourself to see its awesomeness in 3D.

Resident Evil looks more pleasing to me but obviously if you get into the technical mumbo jumbo Uncharted is clearly superior. Devil-Itachi

I doubt fanboys would be able to see that.

Resident Evil Revelations is stunning. It is very nice looking and I will buy it at some point. But to say that it is better looking than Uncharted: GA is just crazy. Obviously the Vita powerhouse will look better.

True, 3D doesn't improve the graphics. However, it gives a much better look and greater atmosphere to the game.
It just makes me feel more into the game.

In fact, sometimes while playing Revelations, I find myself pausing for awhile, spinning the camera around, just to look at the environments.
It really does look THAT good in 3D.

Yeah, UC sure is a beautiful game, and anyone who says otherwise is speaking blasphemy.

But... it just doesn't mesmerise me in the same way Revelations does.
