im certainly gonna pick this up, on friday
i knew i was going to buy this, regardless of the score. this game just adds too much to the game mythos to pass up
and like murat8 said, i love on-rail shooters too. ive always been a fan of going to arcades and playing through them
Lofty competition.Zeliard9lol, so true. A 7.0 for a rail shooter is like AAAA goty for any other genre.
So far it hasn't impressed me too much. It seems pretty fun, but there are a few little things that keep bugging me.
I don't like the ammo indicator around the aiming reticule; it just blocks your view too much, particularly in co-opmode.
The quick reaction events are hit or miss, maybe I just need more practice.
Headshots are inconsistant in their effectiveness and I'm left in bewilderment as to how I'm scoring critical hits or not.
My friend and I are only past the first phase in the Mansion sequence, so these are only early impressions. We'll probably beat it by the end of the weekend.
Picking it up next week. On a related note, there are far too many great games coming out right now. Please make it stop. My wallet... she's so thin now...Hoffgod
I hear you there. I almost have to work overtime to keep up, but then I can't game...
The game length could be alot more then 20 hours. If you go through and try to get a grade of S on every level and find all the documents, you might spend 30-40 hours easily.
I love the documents and how it tells the backstory. Sony fanboys should want this game since the re series started on the psx brand and this is an extension of that. RE 0, 1, 3, and a new chapter. awesome.

Yeah, House of the Dead 2 is probably my favourite on rails shooter and it got 6.7 here which is.... you guessed it lower than Killzone.

It not just Sony fanboys that should want this game. Anyone who is a RE fan that wants more of the backgound story is going to want to play the game. Just that simple.
yea i know gamespot give low reviews like Mario strikers charged should of gotten a 8.5 or 9, but instead they give it a 7.5, so is it 2 player coop or somthing.

I'm sure they'll be content with Resident Evil 5.
I will too on my 360. That game is a year or maybe even 2 years away cause it could come out in late 2009 instead of early. WHy not have the whole story first and enjoy this great game?
