Resistance 1

All these people keep telling me the PS3 sux just because it does, but no one has any real excuse. Everyone who has played Resistance says its amazing and better than Gears of War.

If their is someone who has actually played both, who can honestly say that GoW is better, then id like to see it

Well GS likes Gears better :P

I own and have both, and the both have pluses and minuses but I did like gears multiplayer(until all the glitches) and story line better, but it was two sided as I was rather bummed at how short and how it left me feeling like "what thats it..??".

that and I hated the car (I think it was called a rambler??) parts.  

I have all 3 systems

 I have played Gears and Resistance

Gears Single player=Fun Repative and short

Gears multiplayer=Kinda addactive Repative and kinda unbalanced

RFOM single= Kinda medium ins length big levels ANd alright weapons

RFOM mutli-Crazy takes a bit of learning curve and kinda fun

Ill say RFOM is better

I played it a little at a friends, it was fun, but i just liked Gears more.

I think it should have got a 9.0 at least

I own both games and I can't believe they are compared to one another.

Gears is a much much better game than R:FoM.

Don't take my word for it? Check out some reviews.  They can't ALL be wrong can they?

Ive played through both single player campains (no MP resistance but to be honest I dont like deathmatch much anyway)  and must say that gears is alot better, both are great games dont get me wrong but there are FPSs just like Resistance and there are FPSs simply better then resistance (half life 2 for instance), gears gameplay was done before, but never as well, the characters were great, story so-so (had alot of unused potential) fantastic music graphics and replay value. Both scores were accurate IMO

I have both, played GOW much more though at this point. Anyways, I dont think there is much of a comparison. While RFOM is a really fun FPS, it doesnt do much new. GOW wowed me from the first second i started playing and 2 player co-op was crazy fun. Story wise I really like RFOM better though.

Anyways, I dont think its that close, gears is better imo.

Really everyone, all 4 of them? I own both. Resistance is subpar at most, doesn't come close to GeOW. Can't say everyone anymore
