Resistance 2 is one of THE BEST ONLINE FPS ON CONSOLES!![56K]

Competent single player mode, although lacking in story

The real draw of Resistance 2 is online, and specifically Online co-op mode. Players can choose to play with a squadron made up of real people or have a buddy join you in your living room and you both engage in some online co-op ass kicking.

To say this mode is addictive is almost understatement. The sense of comradery and co-operation you experience in this mode is golden, each player feels an obligation and responsibility to supply, protect and heal each team member. Team work is rarely expressed better. The result is a mode that plays out like a fast paced fps/rpg combination that is endless is fun.

If we're talking best FPS co-op, then I'd agree.

If we're talking best FPS competitive multiplayer, then that'd be Halo 3.

I just got the game today. I'll be playing single player first before multiplayer ..... I'll let you know my unbiased verdict in a month or so.

I agree. And also, the co-op isn't like "you took my kill you son of a *****", but it is really like "thanks for healing me/giving me ammo/ backing me up/ shielding me". Teamwork is really key. rsoxguy12

I'm going to have to strongly disagree, the multiplayer in R2 is nothing like the multiplayer in the original Resistance. R2 is significantly better in every way. EmperorSupreme
