Resistance 2 Trophies & Box-Art Revealed

PS3Trophys.com has just received the trophy list for Resistance 2.

I like the trophies. They are little things that won't be impossible to get, but take awhile to collect them all.

The box art is terrible. I'm happy I'm getting the collector's edition because of the box art alone.

It doesn't matter if the cover system is slightly different, I can still argue that Gears ripped the idea from Killswitch, then someone will argue that Killswitch ripped it from Time Crisis and so on. All companies get their ideas from others, it happens, it didn't stop some games from being the masterpeices they are.

You obviously percieved Insomniac wrongly then, sure they develop unique ideas, but just like every other game developer, they take ideas from other games, if all game developers had completely unique and original ideas we wouldn't see oversaturated genres, end of discussion.

And I hope they didnt take out skill point and hope that trophies would be an ok substitute. Skill Points are better than trophies and achievements.

Oh get off his back it is stupid they couldn't make it 10,001 all he said was it the exact same thing as a gears achievment.

Eh, that box art doesn't look great.

That doesnt list it as the official boxart at all, just the trophys. That was one of the box arts that was nominated for the Special Edition but didnt win.

Hopefully they arent using it anyway... but it's still not official yet.

Box Art looks funny with having the bridge in the title then the same bridge just below it.

And wow they copied Gears on the achievement

He just stated he was surprised that Insomniac didn't add to the achievement (10,003 or 11,000, similiar to how Army of Two did it), they just used the EXACT same one as in Gears.

From the looks of it he took a shot as Insomniac's originality or lack of originality. Plus the "eyeroll" smiley made it even more evident in ways.

Still not a big deal, but it's pretty evident he was being negative about it and somwehat making fun of their originality.

I think its quite tasteful and cl@ssy that Insomniac didn't go the troll route and make it 10,001.
