Resistance 2 Vs. Gears 2

In 2006 Gears of war whooped up on Resistance, cows were hyping Resistance better than Gears, didnt turn out that way.

So IF both of these games come out in 2008, which one will be better.

Although, I can't wait for more Resistance.

we havent heard anything on either...and after playing resistence i have to say the online is weak, but after playing gears...it was fun, but i just didnt think that the character controlled all that well, and the story wasnt as intense as say, mgs. also the online is really hard for me (i tried to just shoot people with the normal gun)

but its wayy too early to tell.

well excluding graphics RFOM beat gears in physics, AI and pretty much everythign else... as far as gameplay, they are much diffrent games to be compaired that way, gears is a slow paced (slow framed) work of art, and RFOM is a fast paced (high framed)run gun....

bcz i dont know much abotu ether games form what i knwo now gears will use the Unreal Engine 3.... and Resistance 2will use the new/updated engine insomniac created after R&C

when it comes to graphics i get a feeling insomniac dsnt care too much there, though they have made a solid shooter with RFOM, but i think gears will look better, but RFOM will beat it again in everyhting else...

like i said b4r, bcz gears is slow paced game it allows the devs to reduce frame rate therefore increase the graphics

and Resistance is a fast pace game that needs a high frame rate, so graphics where lowered...

Did cows ever say Resistence would be better than Gears? dont remember.

Anyway, Im equally excited for both. Resistence for Single player/Multiplayer and GEOW2 for the same.

I think that Gears was a disgusting addition to the 360's already frat-boy focused library. That being said, Resistance is one of my favorate shooters.

You can also say that all multiplet games look better on the 360, but at the end both systems are on the same level visual wise.

That would be a lie as well. Plenty of multiplats looks just as good or better on PS3. Oblivion, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and DirT are just a few where the PS3 version is superior. Last post because I don't want to hijack this thread and we are getting off topic. Like I said until a game comes out on X360 that is better than Gears I'm going to say it's tapped out since it's been over a year now.

they both will be great, but im super hyped for resistance 2 mostly because Insomniac knows the ps3 vary vary well now and resistance was such a cool FPS vary under-rated imo

gears wasn't slow paced... it was very action oriented. great game.it was at 60 fps. resistance was good but not comparable to gears... not in the same sentence.

Resistance was rushed so Resistance 2 should be a bigger leap then Geow to Geow 2. So I voted Resistance being cooler.caseypayne69
