Resistance 2 vs Gears of War 2 ( Higher Score ? )

There are some Gears of War 2 reviews that sound disappointing

IGN gave 9.5 to R2, IGN doesn't really give good scores to video games until they are so good. I think R2 will beat the crap out of GOW2

And also R2 graphics look way better than GOW2 graphics

What disappointing GeOW 2 reviews? It's getting 9/90+'s everywhere. I predict both will get 9.5 on GS. A small part of me wants GeOW 2 to flop just to see what happens.

Geow2 graphicas are better! end of story in this department Geow2 > R2 (in others R2 is better IMO)

but i think both score pretty well over here, Geow2 has the edge though

Both will get AAA...

I say 9.5 for Gears 2, 9.0 for PS3.

But i won't be shocked with a 9.0 or 8.5 from either one of them.

Honestly my friend and I have been playing the R2 beta

Its a fun game and its loaded with content which is good

But Gears is in a whole different league

the first gears demolished resistance 1 and the same thing is going to happen with gears 2 demolishing resistance 2

ign will give gears 2 at least a 9.5

on gamespot i predict gears 2 getting a 9.5 and resistance 2 getting an 8 maybe an 8.5

as for overall graphics es gears 2 looks better then resistance2

gears is about quality

resistance 2 is about quantity

and quality>>quantity

yeah but GeOW2 isn't much different whe ncomparing the jump from RFOM1 to R2. Also for a company called Epic, Insomniac sure made a much more epic game in R2 then GeOW2.

i xpect equal score from both ign and GS for both R2 and GeOW2

Although R2 is adding more content to its sequel than Gears 2, I don't think R2 will score higher.

The core gameplay of Gears will always be better than Resistence.

I never really thought much of Resistence, the gameplay just seemed lacking in comparison.

This is pretty much what i would say, i dont think they have improved the R2 gameplay, but just added alot more to it.

ign has always given good scores to ps3 games

they gave a 9.1 to folklore and that game was trash

resistance 2 is a fun game and my buddy and i enjoyed the beta

but gears 2 pretty much out classes it in every way possible
