It's the apocalypse, it's suppossed to be brown. Not even the original Fallout games or Wasteland had much color. Enslaved had lots of color but that was because they were... breaking the stereotype and probably to push the UE3 to it's limits.

I'm waiting for the beta update to finish downloading right now. The beta itself is around 1500 MB and the update is around 1400 MB. Looing forward to trying it out.

Resistance 3 isn't brown king at all. I'm not judging this from videos, I'm judging this from experience (I'm in the Resistance 3 Beta), there's a lot of colour in the maps, this is nowhere near brown king. The map Seaside has a lot of green foliage and has a wide variety of colours on the buildings, ground, etc. The other map (forgot it's named, started with "air") is a little more brown and orange, but that's justified since it's supposed to be in a sort of "dusty" environment. From my time with the game, I definitely wouldn't say that it's "brown king". It looks pretty good, but it doesn't seem like the huge leap in graphics that I though it would be from Resistance 2 (probably old code or something since footage we've seen looks better, but overall the game looks nice).
