Resistance 3 vs Halo Reach

I know R3 hasn't been officially announced but we've all seen the billboard thing and we know Insomniac releases an AAA every year so I think it could happen.

I willl go with Resistance 3: Rise of Man

why stop their. why not compare halo reach 2 and resistance 4. would be just as worthwhile as we no absoluetly nothing what so ever about those games too

Now am not a big fan of these games. Both games serieshave their good and bad points about them.

Its still far to early to tell how these games will be. I am expecting a lot of work to be done on both. Halo developers are usually good at bring in new game features etc. Resistance will need to make their single player less boring and bring something new into the multiplayer.

Well, the devs took Resistance 2's criticism pretty deep, so they'll be pouring their souls into this game. Halo Reach...well, it's Halo. The thing would sell millions regardless if it were an RPG :P (although that would be one awesome RPG). R3 should be compared to The Conduit 2 and not Reach... R2 is exacly what The Conduit is and comparing it to Reach is insulting Halo.Syferonik

While that is a very good list of games, especialy Dragon Quest IX & Super Mario, nothing can compare to zelda for me. I'd rather that game over any other, are you sure its not aimed for 2010 and is 2011? "During E3, Shigeru Miyamoto said that while Zelda Wii was not at E3, he hopes to announce it and release it in 2010" where did you hear it was 2011?

Dragon Quest IX is most likely AAAE, and the sales for that game will probably beat most on that list put together.

I personally know nothing about this game other than it sells a lot in Japan so dunno about this one -.- all i know is The Grinder will be as good as his brother The Conduit lol

You know what you are so wrong , i enjoyed more of Resistance 2 then Halo 3. And i was a huge fan of Halo before.

Resistance dreams it could be as good as Halo.

Anyways, Resistance 2 was a huge let down. I would be surprised if they bounce back, the direction they took the competitive multiplayer in was a bad one.

I can almost guarantee MH3 won't get AAAE. Gamespot hates Monster Hunter, the highest score I think was for Unite, a 6.5.

To me, every MH is a AAAA, and I could consider getting a Wii just for MH3.

This may be the dumbest topic I have ever seen in SW. First, we know absolutely nothing about Halo: Reach except that it's a prologue set on the planet Reach (isn't that just a ton of info?). Second, we not only know nothing about Resistance 3, but the game hasn't even been announced yet! This comparison is just ludicrous, ask me again when there's some game-play and info to make an opinion on.

gameplay wise i'm sure resistance will win hands down

but sales wise, popularity wise of course halo will win

Im sorry, even mentioning the resistance series and the Halo series in the same sentence is an insult. Unless you saying how much better the Halo series is, or how Resistance could only dream to be near the greatness of Halo, or that Halo is easily in the top 5 FPS of all time whereas Resistance would be lucky to get in the top 20. R2 and Halo 3 have around the same graphics, Halo 3 has better multiplayer, and the Co-op campaign on Halo 3 is one of the most fun experiences EVER.
