In my humble opinion, I think Resistance looks a lot better. Killzone 2 will destroy them both visually though. Discuss.

Actually compairing the two now closely Halo 3 beta suprsingly outshines the Resitance screens.  The ground textures on Halo 3's like the beach totally destroy's all the textures of the screens youve posted. 

Resistance is good and all but this topic is pretty stupid.

Bungie was in the Beta stage in November of last year. They have showed Alpha, and now the leaked Beta video.

I usally don't respond to dumb post.  But this is by far one of the idiotic post i ever seen.  First, your compairing a game that not even out.  Second, you compairing a game that is in there beta/alpha stage.  If you want to compair games, compair how gears of war blows away resistance.

Thank you, thats what I've been trying to tell these people, but they still bring up this Alpha/Beta crap. They're still expecting a visual leap, they need to understand this is a reflection of what the final game will look like.

Once again, the graphics are done, devs have more to think about than just visuals. The fact that you're using the 6 months til release excuse goes to show how bad Halo 3s graphics are.

The graphics are done? Really, I would love to see some proof of this, because all I've read says that they aren't done. Not even close really.

doh... testing takes time alot of time they really need a good amount of time to test the game codes averything need to be work properly and if you are still working on graphics halo wont be released in september thats for sure....

Just like the final build of Halo 2 was such a leap from the Beta, right:roll:, LOL, Halo2 looks just like its Beta. Same will happen with Halo 3.

Once again, the fact that you're hoping for a change shows how good the graphic quality of the game is.

Then released just over 6 months later like this.
