I just recently got a PS3, and Resistance. I have played Gears to death, and I can say without a doubt that Resistance is an all around better game. The single-player, the matchmaking, the online, the look, the feel. This is probobly one of the most profound shooters since Halo 2. I am very happy wih it! Everyone should check it out.NAPK1NS
Oh trust me I have said this like a few times before, and ill say it again, I own both systems and GEOW is a spectacular looking game but what it lacked in its single player was the game was just so damn short, even playing it on the hard modes was a walk through, where as for RFOM on normal it was a long single player and so much going on with the AI coming at u, the game was alot harder then GEOW and the single player was longer, but GEOW hide and duck system was alot of fun even though I still didnt get why those fat guys with the grenade launcher couldnt blow up the rock you were hiding behind, kind of made it unrealistic, like I know its unrealistic with aliens n all but come on, like a grenade launcher cant blow up a stone your hiding behind? Anyways GEOW was a good game, a little overrated but I think when it just comes out to just pure fun, RFOM is the better all around game and will last longer then GEOW.
Now as I was saying earlyer about what I was about to tell u, My cousins came over who are both xbox fanboys, and they own geow and alot of other titles for the xbox 360 and when they came and seen me playing RFOM on my 42 inch LCD screen and seen how great the game looked and how fast paced it was and how easy it was to find a rank game online compared to halo 2 and other games, they were amazed and also tried it out having a blast playing in a room with 32 people all shotguns, playing in a team deathmatch room with 40 people all snipers, playing in another room that was 40 people but deathmatch where u were for yourself and capture the flag, and meltdown, they were just suprised how fun and great the game looked and ran on my ps3, and the funny thing is the next day one of them went and bought a ps3 with RFOM and Motorstorm, and the following week my other cousin got a ps3 and RFOM and a few other games, and we play online all the time, its just now I have been on the ninja gaiden sigma demo trying to get in the top 10 in master ninja difficulty. Anyways for anyone who has played geow but havent had a chance to play RFOM, I highly recommend u grab that game even if u aint a ps3 owner now but get one later on when prices come down, RFOM will still be played then until the next RFOM comes out because it is highly addicted like halo 2 is. Hopefully they add some vehicles from the single player for us to mess around with in the new maps and hopefully they add some of the weapons in the single player like the shield grenade, yes the shield grenade was first seen in RFOM and now I see halo 3 is going to have it aswell. Anyways my Gamertag for both consoles are on the bottom and add me if u wanna have a match or 2, ill own u on some RFOM sniping lol. :P
