Resistence looks sub-par in my opinion

Each time i look at the wall, i see ps2 or even ps1 graphics, on a 1080p samsung TV

but for geow I see 360 graphics even when i aim with the sniper on to alot of walls

i think the Resistence graphics are very much over-rated

Resistance has so much more going on on the screen at once, way more than gears. The battles are larger with more enemies and alies too. Graphics not as nice, true, but they still look great, especially for a launch game.

I've played and enjoyed both Gears and Resistance, and I can say that your post is laughable. The graphics for Gears are much much better than Resistance, and anyone who's played both games can tell you that. Not saying that Resistance is a bad game, but it's definitely not better than Gears of War in the graphics department.

better than gears imo, not graphics i guess, but gameplay is faster smoother and funner, and online owns 40 players no lag, the 4v4 roll and shotgun gets annoying and host adv ... for shame... haha

I liked Resistance's graphics style better, it really worked well for the game, I liked it better than gears (yes I ahev played it)

and they were both fun games, but I liked Resistance more, I liked the story alot more

Overall I enjoyed R:FOM a lot more than GeOW. Why? Mmm...

- Gears got a slow pace gameplay, it seems like : 2 or 3 ennemies , blablabla, blablabla. another ennemie!, blablabla...
- Also, I hate the way we can't continue until their radio talking **** is over. that's so frustrating.
- No enough ennemies at a time, in comparison with RFOM where they are A LOT and where you can just KILL!
- Bad multiplayed in Gears IMO. that's just run and shotgun all the way... 4VS4? That's not war... thats a walk in the woods...
- However I must admit the graphics are impressive...

On the other hand...

-Resistance has a fast gameplay where you can go at your own speed without being slowed by some radio talking...
-Your character can turn while running..... (who can't turn while running exept Gears hero?)
-The online multiplayer is great, up to 40 player, 20vs20 team battles are GREAT and you can activate your mic whenever you want, unlike Gears, where it's always open.
-A LOT of ennemies on the map shooting at you.

Tell me what you like, thaT's how I would compare those games...

You know, if you want to stare at walls, just turn your head to the left. It's a lot cheaper than gaming and has higher resolution textures as well.

Did you play the Blacksite Area 51 demo? No? Cause you have a PS3? Well let me tell you, I played RFOM at my neighbor house. He bought a PS#, I bought a 360. Makes it easier on both of us. Blacksite looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than RFOM. Gears is better looking than RFOM. The reason you just don't go out and kill kill kill is because their is a such thing called suspense. I am not scared of no Aliens. I am scared of walking in a dark alley on gears cause no gun can save your ass.

Rfom is a good game but anyone thats owned an original Xbox has higher standards so thats why it tends to look like an average fps to some.

If you have only ever played PS2 shooters Rfom looks incredible.

Resistance is MUCH better than Gears of War, both online and offline.
