Tri Ace is a Japanese developer and they've made severl Playstation games in the past and fewer XBOX games by comparison.
It should be assumed the likelyhood is a PS3 led game from Tri-Ace.
Everyone who has played it has said the opposite. The 360 version was obviously the lead. Some effects are missing in the PS3 version that are present on the 360. 360 also has superior lighting.I have heard the PS3 version runs a little better, so perhaps it's PS3.

The PS3 has a bigger fanbase in Japan which is where JRPG's are at their best selling point. So it's the OBVIOUS choice. The reason why there were many exclusive JRPG's on the 360 was because Microsoft paid for them.

Because the 360 doesnt sell in Japan therefore thsoe games dont sell either. Its simply a bad business decisision but MS pays for them to do it.

This COW HIVEMIND is getting really tedious. So nobody outside of Japan likes JRPG's? Because thats what you're saying.[QUOTE="TheSterls"][QUOTE="KittenWishes"] Why shouldn't they? This COW HIVEMIND is getting really tedious. So nobody outside of Japan likes JRPG's? Because thats what you're saying.Im not saying that but let me give you an example. FF13 may sell 600 to 700 k on each platform here in the US. It sold nearly 1.3 million in Japan in the first week for the PS3 alone. So while other people like JRPGS outside of Japan , japan is its biggest market not to mention PS3 owners in NA are also more likely to buy FF13 over 360 owners. The 360owners have not been very caring toward JRPG's if you dont beleive me please look up sales figures for any of there games such as Blue Dragon, LO or any other 360 exclusvie JRPG's.

Didn't Star Ocean 4 bomb in Japan on the PS3? Blue Dragon sold 200 000 as of November 2007. The devs were happy. There have been no sales updates. Lost Odyssey is probably sitting pretty at 900 000 by now. The devs would be even happier. What do sales have to do with Microsoft wanting to provide their userbase with more variety?[QUOTE="TheSterls"][QUOTE="KittenWishes"] This COW HIVEMIND is getting really tedious. They aren't little 12 year old fanboys?
it doenst make sense.........they probably would have saved money if they just axed the 360 version it isnt going to sell........no 360 jrpgs sell well. and almost 1 miliion sales in a two year span is horrible..........LO was a sales flop so stop acting butt hurt because someone pointed out the truth.........

Lost odyssey sold very well but considering that it probably costed them alot it was supposed to be FF13 killer when FF13 used to be PS3 exclusive so guess it didnt sell enough to warrant a sequel.

"Them" being... ?Microsoft signed with SE for Last Remnant as well as get timed exclusivity for ToV on the 360. Why? Because the 360 wouldn't sell **** in Japan without a killer app that the Japanese audience would love that isn't available on the PS3. JRPG's are big in Japan which is why Tales actually helped the 360 outsell the PS3 for a month or 2 there.
It's obvious dude. Bigger fanbase there --> Better choice as lead platform. JRPG's are huge in Japan, so they aim there first (FFXIII). MS funded projects such as Blue Dragon & Lost Odessey and they paid for ToV and Last Remnant. They want the console to sell everywhere not just Europe and NA.
