I have heard the PS3 version runs a little better, so perhaps it's PS3.

Tri Ace is a Japanese developer and they've made severl Playstation games in the past and fewer XBOX games by comparison.

It should be assumed the likelyhood is a PS3 led game from Tri-Ace.

Everyone who has played it has said the opposite. The 360 version was obviously the lead. Some effects are missing in the PS3 version that are present on the 360. 360 also has superior lighting.

Why shouldn't they? Do you somehow think that the PS3 is more entitled to certain games and genres than the Xbox 360? Give me a break.

Because Kitten, they were flops on the XB360, that's why. They would had done much better on the PS3. Only shooters and squeals to well known series do well on the 360. That's why Bethseda wanted the Fallout IP so they can have a number in the name, rather than just coming up with their own post nuclear setting. EDIT: Hai guyz wuts poof readin lolz?1!!1

The PS3 has a bigger fanbase in Japan which is where JRPG's are at their best selling point. So it's the OBVIOUS choice. The reason why there were many exclusive JRPG's on the 360 was because Microsoft paid for them.

its just that 360 sold pretty terrible in japan who happen to like jrpgs alot so why wouldn't they release a ps3 version which is what most of the Japanese gamers have. It seems like a bad business decision losing alot of potential sales. most of the the originally exclusive JRPG's that where making me want to pick a 360 eternal sonata, tales of vesperia, and Star ocean last hope have since been ported to the ps3 and with additional content.

My guess is that it's cheaper to make 360 games than it is to make PS3 games.

Who cares about Japan? Has it never crossed your mind that Microsoft want to expand their library of JRPG's for the benefit of their userbase? Everything you're saying is just regurgitated crap from 2 years ago. Get over it. FYI, the additions to the aforementioned aren't even worth the price of admission, Tales of Vesperia is not out on PS3 outside of Japan. Eternal Sonata lasted for about 20 hours and SO4 was the worse JRPG I have ever played.

Because the 360 doesnt sell in Japan therefore thsoe games dont sell either. Its simply a bad business decisision but MS pays for them to do it.

Im not saying that but let me give you an example. FF13 may sell 600 to 700 k on each platform here in the US. It sold nearly 1.3 million in Japan in the first week for the PS3 alone. So while other people like JRPGS outside of Japan , japan is its biggest market not to mention PS3 owners in NA are also more likely to buy FF13 over 360 owners. The 360owners have not been very caring toward JRPG's if you dont beleive me please look up sales figures for any of there games such as Blue Dragon, LO or any other 360 exclusvie JRPG's.

Didn't Star Ocean 4 bomb in Japan on the PS3? Blue Dragon sold 200 000 as of November 2007. The devs were happy. There have been no sales updates. Lost Odyssey is probably sitting pretty at 900 000 by now. The devs would be even happier. What do sales have to do with Microsoft wanting to provide their userbase with more variety?

Star ocean sold 140k in Japan till now SE should be very happy its a 1 year old game and it got a very bad word of mouth look and ToV it sold more than 360 version in its first week on PS3.

Lost odyssey sold very well but considering that it probably costed them alot it was supposed to be FF13 killer when FF13 used to be PS3 exclusive so guess it didnt sell enough to warrant a sequel.

I would guess 360, I mean the Japanese demo was up pretty quick. Also, if I remember correctly most videos are of the 360 version. However this game is not pushing boundaries graphically, so it shouldn't matter.

Same here.

I even put off buying BC2 this month in case RoF turns out good. (thought I just bought Fallout 3 as I wait, for a budget price)

The PS3 has a bigger fanbase in Japan which is where JRPG's are at their best selling point. So it's the OBVIOUS choice. The reason why there were many exclusive JRPG's on the 360 was because Microsoft paid for them.

"Them" being... ?

Microsoft signed with SE for Last Remnant as well as get timed exclusivity for ToV on the 360. Why? Because the 360 wouldn't sell **** in Japan without a killer app that the Japanese audience would love that isn't available on the PS3. JRPG's are big in Japan which is why Tales actually helped the 360 outsell the PS3 for a month or 2 there.

It's obvious dude. Bigger fanbase there --> Better choice as lead platform. JRPG's are huge in Japan, so they aim there first (FFXIII). MS funded projects such as Blue Dragon & Lost Odessey and they paid for ToV and Last Remnant. They want the console to sell everywhere not just Europe and NA.
