Resonance of Fate vs. Final Fatasy XIII

So a question for all RPG fans. Which of these two games will you buy in March?

Personally I'll be getting Resonance of Fate, after playing the demo it has wowed me, I absolutly enjoyed it.

And we all know what FF is.

So cast your vote, I'm curiouse who else will be getting Resonance of Fate.

Resonance of Fate for me.

Both, but I highly doubt Resonance of Fate gets a March 9th release. It hasn't even been released in Japan yet and won't be until the 28th I believe. I just don't see the US version being released only 1.5 months after its counterpart. I'd love it to be released earlier no doubt though.

Since both will release on the same day then both day 1 buys :).. i'll for sure start with FFXIII tho till i get 100% trophies :P

Both if I can afford it. If not I'll just pick FFXIII first and RoF when I have the extra cash. I'm kind iffy on RoF after playing the demo. All the unnecessaryjumping got on my nerves. Also since it is a Tri-Ace title I'm not expecting much when it comes to story (the only Tri-Ace titles I found to have decent stories were Valkyrie Profile 1,2)

Resonance of Fate is a much higher priority for me, although neither are going to be day one buys, unless I get my worker's permit next month.

FF is definitely a day one buy for me.

Resonance of Fate still looks a little iffy to me, so I'll probably wait for a few reviews to start showing up before I decide to buy it.

I planned on buying both, but if I buy an HDTV I might not be able to afford RoF. I won FFXIII in Japanese, but completing it made me want to play it in English all the more ...

Well i see the poll is right, i mean WKC will release next month while FFXIII and RoF will release in 2 months March 9th

Both I'm planning on getting nearly all 2010 JRPGs.

This games and other JRPG that look way worse than FF13 are only getting attention cause people like to hate on whats more famous and sucessful. Cause thers no way look or will be a better game. From what we have seen it isnt better than FF13 in any way. So people are only giving it attention hoping for it to be more sucessful than FF13. But good luck buying the worst game.Drakes_Fortune

Its simple big games gets alot of hate the bigger is the game fanbase the more haters it will have as simple as that.

sadly only FF games seems to get a free pass to 9+ scores in GS for JRPGs Suikoden and Wild arms games were great but yet they only scored 7s and 8s ==;.

I'm halfway through Suikoden 2. It's really not that great. I don't think it's better than Final Fantasy VII so far.

I highly recommend people to NOT buy this awful game.

It was garbage in all aspects, the the music was so awful it was like one very short tone that kept looping, the gameplay was so awful that made me laugh so hard, there were like three moves that was always repeated, the characters somersault in the air to shoot and they can't shoot unless their guns are upside down, they can't just flip their guns, nooooooooo, they have to somersault in the air to do it, I couldn't stand it, I was getting sick of the game I couldn't continue watching and Im not exaggerating, that was what really happened, the game is awful, please people, don't buy this game.

I thought I wouldn't see something more awful than Rogue Warrior but I did :P

EDIT: I just remembered something too, thats my friend's first reaction to the game while we were watching my other friend play it "that is a dreamcast game in graphics with some ugly gameplay"

As I said after beating the demo for the first time gameplay changes lol I don't know why did they decide to use such a stupid Idea it makes the game looks bad but in the real gameplay you cant do special actions as much as you want you will have to do many normal attacks till you get enough points to do special actions (run and shoot or jump and shoot).

And even if the language they speak of is from ancient Aztec :P the gameplay and presentation is universal, Im playing FFXIII and it's Japanese and I can tell you without any doubt that it is an incredible game.
