ReviewtechUSA: Why I Returned The Xbox One

More than just disc drives eating discs it seems.

I saw this and not sure what to make of it can't say i blame him if had even one defective console i would return it and wait for them to be more reliable.

i would have done it myself, but US gets more good stuff when it comes to Xbox. So i don't consider buying one in the first place atm. Only reason i would buy it would be for Forza

That's pretty horrible and a deal breaker for me...thank God the PS4 hardware is perfect and it doesn't have any issues like a RROD or anything like that...oh wait!!!

i remember last week when MS and PC guys were laughing and mocking people for buying the PS4. It doesn't look like MS is doing better at all

When Playstation 4 had launch issues, us cows didn't care, we own it up and hope everything would be okay with people having a defective issues. Lemmings on the other hand is trying to cover Xbone issues - "See no infected Xbone one. Hear no news on infected Xbone. Speak no truth about infected Xbone."

Yeah I'd replace both systems if they kept breaking on me, I'd then use the money to buy a R9-290 for my pc. I'm glad my xbox one is working perfect so far.

2 defective XB1's in a row sounds way too suspicious. I think this guy just loves the drama...

I agree with most of what he is saying which is why i decided on PS4.

That said, we should take what he says with a grain of salt.

He has always been biased toward sony, and yes i am a long time subscriber.

He makes great content and great points, but i cant take his opinion on microsoft and XB1 seriously because i know he is biased.

Yeah, there is nowhere near the outrage compared to last week. People should know about this and how to fix it if it is possible. It sucks for those that get it. But i am confident my PS4 won't be DOA when i get it on friday

All my friends return theirs too, my dad return his for a new one. Thankfully in my area, they still have plenty of Xbone in stock as replacable because no one bought one.

Despite what many lemmings say, Xbone isn't "innovative" or "new". It's the same as the last-gen consoles.

Long install times, long load times, 720p res, crap graphics, etc.

PS4 is the one that's innovating.

I share in many of his criticisms.

My personal, dealbreaking issue is the controller. UI and system navigation will be revamped (which, as it stands, is very poor), MS can make the business decisions to cut out Kinect and lower the price, but there's no going back with the controller design and it being less comfortable than either the X360 or DS4. Feels cheap in comparison to both.

In his defense, in most of his other videos, he'll be playing COD or some other fps, like Bioshock.

The dude definately likes to ruffle feathers which to be frank i think is what this industry really needs, a lot of pandering. When i saw that new Sony TOU, i had to snap and show people, even if i liked the PS, i cannot watch these companies do dumb poop. Its good that specialist media picked on it cause Yoshida explained a lot of more features will come back in the future so yeah, our voices heard.

With the Xbox however, there seem to be a more traditional corporate culture still going on with that company, its like Microsoft has a shield protecting themselves from scrutiny and good on them cause ignorant consumers will eat their poop but people like me wont.

Never heard of the guy before but he's right about Reviewtech.

I agree with him 100%. That MS thinks they can try to shoe-horn the Kinect on the console and expect me to buy it is absurd. I won't even consider getting a One until it's Kinectless.

On a side-note, my God does that 3D world footage look extremely by-the-numbers, dull, and predictable. I'd fall asleep playing that. I thought that'd be a must have when I get a Wii U, not now.

He made the right choice.

I would actually like to debate this guy. On a fundamental level, I disagree with him completely about XBoxOne.

Also, his "a" button issue - I got that on my nephew's XB1, and plugging in the headset fixed the problem.
