Revisiting PS Vita's best games

Which were some of your favorites, SW? Contrary to what people may think, the Vita did have some decent first party games... just not enough of them lol. Gravity Rush, Tearaway, a Killzone Mercenary, all pretty good games (not system sellers for sure). But I also enjoyed the multiplats it did have like Dragon's Crown, the Rayman games, Odinsphere, etc. then there's the grand salami that was Persona 4 Golden. Can't forget indies (Ollie Ollie was one of my faves, Velocity 2X), visual novels (Danganronpa, Zero Time Dilemma, Steins;Gate - granted I haven't played the last two yet), and of course PSP and PS1 games (getting Suikoden 2 on Vita was pretty awesome). Overall, looking back, the Vita wasn't what it was supposed to be, but it still ended up being a unique device with still a lot to offer. Sad that it's fallen off a cliff now. What about you, SW? What are your favorite Vita games? What did you love most about the system?

• Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

These five games alone make me glad I invested in the system.

I got my vita to play P4G and P4DAN. I got into danganropa since I was interested and I'm glad I did cause those games are amazing. I got DR1, 2 and AE with V3 preordered. Zero Escape is awesome, but I got it on 3ds cause of 999 being on ds.

@aigis: Steins;Gate is the best VN of all time. Yes, better than 999.

DanganRonpa games are amazing. Pity about AE though. Bleh.

I'm liking AE for the most part, its not the most solid third person shooter, but the story has been enjoyable so far. Not as good as 1 or 2, but its something to tide me over to 3

I actually never played AE (saw the gameplay, turned me off, figured I wouldn't bother), but I watched the full story, and... they sort of jump the shark there into full crazy territory lol.

And yes, do that. It is just such an amazing game. Plus it probably still has the best implementation of time travel across any story in any form of media I have ever seen so far (and I am a sucker for sci fi, so I've seen many)

- Uncharted Golden Abyss

- Assassins Creed Liberation

- Uncharted Fight for Fortune (card game)

Tearaway, persona 4 golden, gravity rush, lbp vita, uncharted golden abyss, are some really great games.

Compared to 3DS Library tho, Vita is severely lacking in great games. I blame Sony for that sadly
