though, i dont own a ps3 myself. i was at my friends when he first got his ps3, and together the two of us beat resistance in one sitting

and we play the mp practically every day

Most of these "flops" on GS are only flops to those who would never play the game.

How very narrowminded. PD:0 was not AAA quality. I am sorry. I wanted it to be great. I owned it at launch. Its just not that good. If anything, CoD2 should have been AAA and PD0 AA.

I know that "GS scores are god" here, but GS has consistently shown, across all major platforms, an alarming lack of consistency in their reviews, and I find the quality of the reviews falling very far, very rapidly.

i could never really understand why critics didnt review this game higher

i thoroughly enjoyed it

like i said before, i dont own the game, but ive completed every level. and ive probably clocked more then 24 hours in the mp over the last year, at my friends house

Heck if I know. I played almost all the launch titles of the 360 (when I got a working 360 mind you). CoD2 was the game that made me feel like I was playing something special. PD0 was ok, Need for Speed was pretty good. some of the others were ok.

I am not particularly caring what something scored or didn't score right now. But for everyone to dismiss a game as "teh flop" because GS rates it lower than some arbitrary hype is missing the fact that many of these "flops" on all platforms are superb games.

Sorry but even as a 360 owner, im not proud to use PDZ as ownage over Resistance Fall of Man because I have both games and clearly Resistance is a better game all around. Im not trying to sound fanboyish, its just the damn honest truth.

360 had a great launch with PDZ, PGR3, Dead or Alive 4, Kameo, CoD 2, Condemned, King Kong.

I'm not surprised that the one ps3 game that was worth buying outsold PDZ.

Condemned...how did I forget that gem? That game was really really good. Seriously. PS3 and 360 owners need to support the sequel when it launches.

Seriously, DoA4 and King Kong? I would give you PG3 and Kameo, but DoA4 and King Kong? Thats stretching a bit too much on those two.

Damn these guys deserve alot of praise for how fast they work and how amazing the quality of these titles that come out from insomniac. I loved Resistance Fall of Man and Ratchet And Clank so much that I already know Resistance Part 2 will be a Killer App for PS3 owners. Great job Insomniac and us gamers love your AAA titles, even though u guys dont get the recognition and credit u should get, keep up the great work. :)
