Im jst wondering is the Ring of death really happen as often an as sum fans of other consoles wud like u 2 believe, i meen ive heard people claim that its the reason ther not buyin a 360 or that 360's hardware is shoddy and breaks all the time, i meen i herd that most of the claims of faulty 360's wer false claims dun by people who didnt even own 1 i personally dont have any frends who hav had any problems wid ther 360's and i personally havnt had any wid mine, so wot do you think?Â

i've got a launch console and ive never had a problem, and ive never heard anything from any of my 360 owner friends, so ive taken it with a pinch of salt
I tried to understand your post, I really did, but Its not good.... From what I understand its somthing about the rings of death on the 360 and to tell you the truth they happen a lot to me... For many reasons.... Mostly becuase my Hard Drive is Defective, but a few others...
1) It isn't a fanboy issue. Microsoft's own forums are plagued with hardware issues: http://forums.xbox.com/281/ShowForum.aspx 2) You really need to fix your English. Wot u dink?

I had to return my first one because I got the Red Ring. Best Buy wouldn't even let me keep my hard drive:evil:. My current 360 has performance issues, but I haven't encountered the Red Ring just yet.
I love the 360 software, but I'm getting fed up with all the hardware BS.

There isn't a 180 character limit on the gamespot forums.
Anyway, yes the problem is quite widespread by the looks of it, and not just a few 360s have been effected. Personally though, my 360 is fine, and a couple of other people I know with a 360 (both have had them over a year) havn't had any issues with it.

I have never had any problem with mine. This whole ring of death is blown to a whole new level cause cows. One of those things if you have nothing good then just bash others to hope to bring them to same spot.
My friend's has stopped working twice already, each time he had to get it replaced. I only know one other person who has one and their's is fine, although it's seldom used.
This kind of problem only generates more than it is because the feedback of those healthy working systems aren't accounted for, it not saying that it could probably have the highest out of the three of them.
Every time this comes up 90% of the people say they have never had a problem and the other 10% say they have had anywhere from four to eight break down, it is never some believable thing like someone saying that theirs broke once and they had to have it fixed. I know that people have had defects but its strange to me that in here the numbers are so wierd.

Mine broke twice and I had to have it replaced.lol finally.

Well...my second one, which I gt because of the red lights...just recntly got it's own red lights, so take for that what you will. Â The "ring of death" is 2 for 2 in killing my 360's...
It does happen quite often. My launch system died, My nephews launch system died, and a friend of mine, his launch system died. I bought another one in Sep06 with a dumb MS warranty this time....I think im done with consoles after this gen is over....
