RIP Halo Wars

A way underated game IMO (Don't know why GS scored it so low.) MS is pulling the plug on Halo Wars support next month by removing the forums, stat tracking and leaderboards. This was the only console RTS I actually enjoyed. Thanks MS. :(

Well, that sucks. At least they'll still be able to play online, but there won't be much point to it anymore.

You could use same service for free on superior console

Console gamers forfeited any right to complain about stuff like this when they chose a closed platform.

This is why PC gamers place such emphasis on dedicated servers, the community can keep online going; long after the developers/publishers have lost interest in the game.

At least the basic Online stuff is still on the Game.

Sad day for Fans of it though.

it's a good question, I never tried playing it solo on the parts that I had trouble getting trough

Well the online play is p2p, so they will only have to keep up the match making servers I guess :P

but even if they didn't, my point still stands, you can play warhawk, a 2007 game on PSN and you can still play halo wars on the 360

doesn't mean that you won't see games from either side that will have their online option disabled

(in fact, didn't EA shut down it's online modes for many of it's pre-2008 games on both PSN and XBL?)
