Guitar Hero died out in a few years... If CoD gets to the point where there are like 3 a year with even more spin offs each year it will die. But at 1 a year it will never die.

A lot of people, whether you like it or not, think CoD has the bestmultiplayer out of all the other games out there. Complain all you want, you can't change peoples opinions.

The danger is that CoD becomes white noise - "Just another shooter" with each game not much different to the last.

If they manage to keep each game fresh and just use the CoD brand as a marketing tool, then it will survive.

And why does it bother you?

The last one sold around 21 million so I do not understand all the people that feel they need to make yet another anti CoD/MW thread. It is clear people like them. SilentlyMad

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15... will easily sell in the millions even if it is put together by a bunch of monkeys who flings their feces at random objects.
