Eh...seems cool I guess. I still say RTC 1 & 2 are the golden age of series. 3 to me was sloppy in terms of the layout and menus. I hope it's good.

+1 I always wondered if in RollerCoaster Tycoon you could cause crashes. I guess not? Looking forward to play Screamride. Looks more fun than the entire RCT series.

You can, but not like ScreamRide lol. RollerCoaster Tycoon is more based off of building and running a proper amusement park. ScreamRide is about pushing the laws of physics until you destroy everyone and everything. Crashes are in RCT, but not encouraged.

I saw no mention of Chris Sawyer in that article.

Chris Sawyer hasn't worked on this series since RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

Which is the main reason to play the games. 4 steps to have fun:

Step 1: Pick a guest and name him AmazonAngry

Step 2: Build a really bad coaster that sends the train off the tracks

Step 3: Force AmazonAngry on the coaster and watch him die.

Step 4: Rince and Repeat with names of various trolls around system wars.

We'll see. It surely won't be better than RTC1, but if it's better than RTC3 then I might buy it.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is the best game ever. I spent many hours of my youth playing the original.

RCT and ScreamRide? Seems a bit overboard for the genre.

I would be really hyped but I have little faith in Atari getting this right. I would love to be proved wrong though and I'll buy it day 1 even if it's just OK and they don't make a total hash of it.
