I loved Skyrim too much. So much content-packed.

Flawed, but definetly kept me legit hooked for months.

For me,

The Witcher 2, Mass Effect, Fallout: New Vegas, Alpha Protocol, and Nier.

Haha, well I haven't been playing as many jrpgs this gen. That is true. Fire Emblem: Awakening, Nier, Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy 13/13-2... uhm... Ni No Kuni.... Can't think of any others.

He's not trolling. It's true, this is not a very good poll.

It is too long a poll, so very few people's gonna even read through it, let alone vote in it. It would have been a much better idea ask people to reply with their top 3/5/10 RPGs of the gen then note those down yourself for Round 2. Finally, console generation if a fairly meaningless concept if you are going to include everything on PC up to date, while excluding 3DS/Vita which released 2 years ago.

Oblivion for me. I had never played anything like that before and it just blew me away. A true introduction into "next gen gaming". I also think that the atmosphere and sense of adventure remains unmatched (even in Skyrim).
