Played Persona 3 & 4 or Devil Survivor? Awesome games. Other than TWEWY what has SE done well lately? Atlus is now better than SE, yep I said it.

bioware sucks.TheCoreGamer_
is it the lack of effeminate male lead characters or hidden princesses with amnisa? just curious.

no its the out-of-this-world design. From your poll i picked Square Enix but i really like them all, Level 5, Square Enix, Atlus, NIS America and more
Atlus, I've enjoyed a lot more of their games lately. SE delivers amazing products, but they are typically few and far between, Atlus does publish a lot of crap games too, ones developed by smaller developers, but all of their own franchises are golden.110million
I find the ones developed by smaller developers their best games.

Thats true in some cases, but they release so many games, quite of few of them just slip through into a stream of meh.Atlus gets my vote any day, I enjoy SMT way more then FF. They also release some small developer games that are sweet.
I don't like the Persona Series; yep, I said it. Now that that's out of the way...
Square Enix - srsly.
NIS>Atlus
Yea sorry, we can't be friends.I don't like the Persona Series; yep, I said it. Now that that's out of the way...

NIS is pretty bad in some ways, some horrible localizations, and they only seem capable of producing the same genre, Disgaea series is awesome, but most of their other ones pale in comparison.I don't like the Persona Series; yep, I said it. Now that that's out of the way...

I'm completely fine of that, it's my favorite genre.
At this point, I'm liking Atlus a lot more. Games like Persona, Digital Devil Saga, Raidou Kuzunoha takes a lot more strategy to beat then games like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
Nocturne (God like), Digital Devlil Saga 1 & 2 (good), Devil Survivor (awesome), Contact, Disgaea (outstanding), Devil Summoner, more I can't think of right now. GOLDEN SUN! That was an amazing game.[QUOTE="toast_burner"]
Square Enix.
other then persona i cant think of anything atlus has made.

Aside from the Persona games, are any of the Shin Megami Tensei titles very accessible? I've been finding getting into JRPGs a bit of a daunting task and I keep hearing great things about this series, but also that it is perhaps a little more hardcore than most. Silent-Hal
I don't know about Persona, but most RPGs have the same level of dificulty with a few exceptions. Most of the time they follow a very similar structure, so as soon as you understand how one works all you have to get your head aroundwith the next are differing gameplay mechanics. They basically only require very simple stategy, and as long as youput inthe right commands when a situation requires it, all RPGs should be playable. The only time RPGs every become difficult is when they start throwing random deaths (I hate that. Terrible game design, and far too common.)at you, or require alot of grinding. Just pick any good JRPG and you will get it eventually, even if you do end up choosing one more difficult than most.

Silent-HalYeah most SMT games are that but they're not as hard as some people say they are.

Over all thosugh I would have to go with Square.

It still says Atlus on my Person 3 case anyway.
I'm pretty sure Atlus is the factually correct answer. Shin Megami Tensei/Persona, Super Robot Taisen, Etrian Odyssey, etc. etc. etc.; Square hasn't really put out anything decent other than TWEWY in the past few years [though I haven't played Crisis Core or Dissidia...].
Eh, Crisis Core was okay. It's production values were top notch but it's gameplay was too linear and repetitive and it's story was convoluted and overly melodramatic.I'm pretty sure Atlus is the factually correct answer.
