Agreed. 360 has some nice ones in the near future and that's all I care about right now. You would assume the PS3 was going to be better based on the PS2 but look at the SNES compared to the N64 for RPGs. You never know what is going to happen but I'm almost certain the PS3 will at least get some very good ones. White Knight and FFXIII look great.

Honestly who even thought we be able to compare the 360 to the PS 3 for RPGs. I glad there is competition because gaming will definately be dull with just 1 system. Also so many quality games on one system will not be healthy especially at the prices they charge now.too_much_eslim

No, there is no competition really, 360 gets all those RPG's far before FF13 or WK will arrive, and by that time who knows how many more 360 RPG's will have been announced

I'll go with 360, because I like WRPGs more than JRPGs (really only care about the FF and DQ series as far as JRPGs).  Though I do have to admit, that Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey seem interesting.Gamer46

Problem is PS3 has 4 ( FF13, White Knight, Angel Rings, Monster Carnival), that we have seen near to nothing of, when 360 has 17 (Fable 2, Mass Effect 1-2-3, Bioshock, Jade Empire 2, Blue Dragon 1-2, Lost Odyssey, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Eternal Sonata, Elveon, Two Worlds, Overlord, Circle of Doom, Project Offset) most well known and with pics/info and from well known developers and stellar looking too

I agree both WILL have great RPG's ,but fact is 360 HAS great rpg's in the near future, when PS3 in some many years

For now and in the announced future? That's simple the Xbox 360.

The PS3 won't get an RPG to call it's own worth mentioning for over a year. Slow start, not sure if that means it'll be slow forever or if thats just a trend (most PS products have a slow RPG start up time frame).

Depends on how many new RPG's will be announced for 360 this year, and how many for PS3

360 does have some, like Project Offset, Kotor 3, Fallout 3 etc but those have every chance to be PS3 games too, so it is announced exclusives that will make the real difference

For now I would have to say Xbox 360, cause I can't stand the characters ( could care less if main heroe's die or not :lol: ), or the battle system's anymore in FF games, so that only leaves White Knight for PS3 that Im interested. shaggymcp

Right now 360 is winning with blue dragon and lost odyssey both coming out this year,also a few mmorpgs coming to 360 this year.

But ff13is coming out in 2008 for ps3,which will blow every other rpg released this gen,i mean it has to if Final fantasy for this gen o consoles is going to live up too the name,and by the look of the current trailers it's going to do that with ease.

FF13 is just one game, will be one of the best, but VERY VERY close to offerings on 360, do not dillute yourself that will single handly kill any 360 RPG game, just because it will be great, ALL RPG's on 360 so far seem equally amazing, if not better than FF13, and Mass effect, Lost Odyssey seem to totally be in the same league
