Well i heard about some recent cases even with the new motherboard thing they introduced.So i guess it still exists but in a very small quantity.Anyway people always like to fabricate stories.Because i never had any with my OLD core xbox360.Although i kept it very well ventilated and clean.The new one would be good,dont own it yet.

Your loss as in you're missing out on some sweet gaming action. I've had one RROD and I still think the 360 is a sweet gaming machine. Of course if MS didn't fix it for free, I would have canned it. But it didn't cost me a dime and my 3 year warranty starts over when I get the 360 back. In my honest opinion, RROD shouldn't be the reason why someone choses to not get a 360. Especially now with the "better hardware" 360s out there.
