**Rumor** 2 more Wii U ports are coming, but more Nintendo published Switch games are coming

Indeed. Five is the floor (minimum) -- not the ceiling. The ceiling could be as high as 11 or 12.

It's difficult to give an exact number because any game can be pushed back to 2020 for marketing/scheduling reasons.

Let me try to explain this better.

So, for the 2013 Wii U port possibly coming to the Switch, here are Nintendo Published games

Granted, no one wants to see more Wii U ports, but we already know that Fire Emblem Three Houses, Daemon x Machina, Animal Crossing, and a secret Retro project is coming.

Switch not so much different from wiiu. It not surprising to see this ignorant in gamer. Same type of game.

There actually are a lot of people who want to see certain Wii U ports lol.

All I really want is Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch.

Da fuq you talking about? Did you even bother reading the post, or just looking at the topic title? Only 2 more Wii U ports coming in 2019, while majority of games are built for the Switch from the ground up!

I hope the mystery Wii U port is Xenoblade Chronicles X. And I'm sure Pikmin 4 is coming this year.

Perhaps, I should have made it cleared. 1 will be a Wii U Port that came out on 2013, the other Wii U Port could be something else.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the 2013 one be Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD, or Wonderful 101. There’s still some other ones I’d like to see make their way to the Switch as well such as Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The Zelda HD ports (primarily Twilight Princess) are the only Wii-U games I want at this point.

Please. Don't make a port of Mario 3D World. One of the worse Mario games I've played.

Give me Metroid Prime Trilogy, and I'll be happy on the port front.

I'm pretty sure they have ported every Wii U game already.

It mostly same kind of game it what i say. As console switch it not require too much r&d, basically use same asset, and not too much new strategy in design for game. Any switch game it likely it also work for wiiu.

Probably Wonderful 101, but i'd love WindWaker HD on the Switch. I could also see 3D World, but that wouldn't be my first choice.

I'd love to play Pikmin 3 on my Switch, but it sucks that the Wii pointer controls wouldn't carry over.

The extremely important "go here" function could easily be mapped to a pause type button.

Bullshit, Wii U was a commercial failure and Nintendo making ports for Switch isn't as much as fanboys tend to think. There's still a lot of Switch games in development more than porting more Wii U titles. I listed Wii U games that came out on 2013 that maybe having a re-release, it's 1 of them, not all of them.

And yes, R&D is cheaper when you release ports, but the end goal of companies is to make more profits in order to invest more into R&D.

Metroid Prime Trilogy with the same HD make-over that they gave to Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. I'd accept that.

A total reboot of Other M would be better though...
