Rumor: Fox and Universal to add there movies to PSN.

"In the battle Playstation vs Xbox, Sony is looking for any advantage they can get, and they may have found another one. According to the Nikkei newspaper, two major movie studios have hopped on board the Playstation Network. Fox and Universal are going to be adding their movies to the list of movies availabe for rent/download on PSN.

While there are already some high profile movie studios signed on with PSN, these giants in the industry may be a telling sign that Playstation is outstripping other platforms in its available digital content.

So, will PS3 be king-of-the-hill of digital content, or will Xbox 360′s Microsoft's Zune Marketplace pull something out of its sleeve?"

Meh I dont use either rental services. Ive got love film on ps3 now which is nice and anything else I just buy or..try before I buy on less honest sites ;p

Yeah, that's how I feel. Not buying or renting from Sony, MS, Apple, Amazon, or any other company when it comes to digital downloading or streaming.

20th Century fox yes. infact right now there are SONY PICTURES movies On XBL. The latest sony pictures adition is resident evil afterlife. The A-team 20th century fox is one of the latest additions.
Update: and universal too, Despicable Me was the last Universal film released on the service.

Think the last time I checked movie rentals from psn are about $1 cheaper than from vod on dish network or from my cable providers vod.
