Looks like Wii had nothing to do with Nintendo's next-gen system.

Maybe the Revolution is coming out afterall...

There is a rumor that there will be an announcement about an improved Wii two years after the launch, but only a half a year seems kinda soon unless nintendo really is looking into having a third pillar:  DS, Wii, SuperGameCube. However, this is nothing more than pure speculation.

QFT... Reggie: Hey, the Wii's selling really well right now... looks like 360 and PS3 won't stop its sales. I guess we should make another system to do the job, then.

Yea nintendo better have a new system since the Wii is sellin g so good you can;t find one. Might as well have a backup system on store shelves right?
