RUMOR: Leaked info About Sonys Killzone 4

According to the website, the Killzone teaser will contain the speech found below, which is reportedly written for a woman ? possibly Visari?s daughter whom makes a short appearance in the opening sequence of Killzone 3:

My sons and my daughters, today we take the first step toward our imperial future.

For years, this once-great nation has stagnated in the shadow of its enemies. Governed by scoundrels who flaunted the ideals established by my father, these traitors? these enemies of our race have diluted and exploited the triad of Duty, Obedience, and Loyalty.

The games get a lot of hate on here (that means it's good, the best games get hate) and it makes no sense. Wether people want to admit it or not, KZ has earned it's place among the big dogs of the FPS genre, it stands right up there with Halo and COD.

Sure it may not be as popualr as those games in terms of sales or numbers, but it's gameplay and tech rivals every FPS out there. It also has some of the best online MP this gen. I would love to see a new KZ game, Sony just needs to market the hell out of it.

And docking points for the weak storyline is just dumb, it's not like COD or Halo or ANY OTHER FPS game out there has a good storyline either, so if you want to dock KZ down for it's storyline then your going to have to dock them all. Though I heard GG was working on a fantasy FPS.

kz2 was awful. The controls were such s*** for that game. It looked good even though it had like one color but its nowhere near being a top fps.

The single player campaign in 3 was decent (for the 4 hours or so that it lasts). but its multiplayer was utter trash. And the controlls are garbage (they were worse in KZ2. )

I enjoyed Killzone 2 because it was different from other shooters. The guns all had weight and you couldn't spray bullets everywhere to get kills. Then Killzone 3 came along and made it Call of Killzone. I'll pass.

KZ3 was such a disappointment. I thought they were done with the series and that's why they phoned it in.

That's your opinion, which may be shared by plenty of Lems on SW. However in real life KZ is a very highly appraised game and has one several awards, including several FPSOTY awards and Tech awards. It's a very highly appraised series wether you like it or not.

And if you think Halo has a good storyline then just lol, Reach is the only one that's decent, the rest are just laughable.

I really liked Killzone 3, the only one I didn't like was 2. It's a good franchine in my opinion, not an awesome franchise just a good one.

I don't get the KZ controll bashing, I thought they were fine. They added a very fun feel to it, the guns feel great when you shoot them, they feel powerful. Something that Halo or COD or no other shooter can do. People b!tching about the controls are just over exaggerating, I doubt they even played the game.

And if it was the layout that they didn't like, they could have changed it in the options to being more standard ones. It's like you guys didn't even give the game a chance. It's like you said "Oh it's a high scoring PS3 FPS Exclusive, we're going to hate it just because we can't play it".
