If rumors are to be believed, the future is looking dim for the Nintendo 3DS and the system hasn't even launched yet. Despite some negative feelings surrounding the said handheld due to a reported short battery life and region-locking, things are becoming somewhat worse. A group of hackers are saying they can produce flash cards and have cracked the system.
According to a post on Gamrade.com, a group of individuals have claimed to having a 3DS in their possession, analyzed it, and are certain they can create flash cards for the system. If they do have a 3DS in their hands, the chances of it being similar to the other units that have leaked are high, which means the system's OS has yet to be installed on the unit and makes these claims harder to fully believe.
Details are incredibly vague on this rumor and nothing may come from it. Let's hope this information remains a rumor and doesn't become truth. With restrictions like region-locking in place, though, hackers will be prone to the system.
