What do you think, SW? Fake or not fake? This looks fake to me 😁 too good to be true.
It definitely looks fake.
If a "Switch Pro" was coming out in three months, that would have leaked ages ago. Plus it doesn't really make sense for Nintendo to release a Pro model while the base model is still flying off the shelves.
There's also heaps of "safe" guesses - mostly sequels and ports, lots of known titles without any of the wacky releases Nintendo usually includes in their line-up videos (where's Just Dance 2021?). Plus a bunch of stupid guesses like FF7 Remake, a Yakuza game, Fallout: New Vegas, and a demo for a mainline Mario game.
So...yeah, dead in the water. Why even bother posting it?

To be fair, they announced the Switch roughly 3 months before it came out.
No “internal” document would look like that, contain that information, or lay it out in that format. That is 100% some goofball looking for attention. Congrats OP, you helped out that goofball.
If this is a real internal document from Nintendo, why are the dates in American order (Month/ Day/Year) as opposed to the Japanese order (Year/Month/Day)? Also, the dollar sign ($) is in the wrong order. It is supposed to be $399, not "399$."
And as a previous poster mentioned before me, the misspelling of "software."

Likely an NoA release due to being in English, and the "$" sign could simply be a typo. I'm not arguing that it's legit, but simply that it could be possible. I've been on the receiving end of many corporate docs with completely shit info. I even attended a training seminar for managers 2+ hours away for literally no reason, as the product never came to fruition.

We're talking about the same company who gave us the current Switch menu screen 😄😋
If they announce a new Swirch model, I predict not necessarily a big beefier upgraded Switch like some are expecting, but Nintendo parting ways with their Nvidia partnership.
I don’t think it’s a fake. Nintendo directs always happen in January, and the documents looks plain, I don’t think it’s fake.
I'm calling fake with half of those only able to run on Switch Pro. WTF is the point of calling it a Switch Pro when you've obsoleted the Switch?
Just like Gameboy Color. Around 400-500 games only playable on GBC but nintendo and everyone counted it as in one gen.
It definitely looks fake.

Yeah, screw a switch Pro, they need a Switch 2

My guess is that Nintendo might make a new hybrid system instead of a Switch Pro.
It won't be that list.
It'll be like Mario 3D All Stars was:
minimum efforts for maximum profits.
Lol, Mario 3D All Stars is like the bane of your life lol.
"Softwar"😂
Yeah, reads like someones personal wishlist. Could see some of that happening, but a whole lotta nope.

I feel like if Nintendo is going to attempt a Switch Pro, now would be the time. March will already be 4 years since the original came out. If you don't do it at this point, might as well just put your resources to Switch 2. Am I rite?
@SolidGame_basic:
Yup, seems now would be the ideal window. Could see it going either way though, maybe just run the Switch for another year or two and then drop a successor.

Maybe that someone doesn't have a Sony or Microsoft console and just desperately wants to play GTA V, and other third party games, on Nintendo Switch.
Pretty sure this is fake. I doubt Nintendo would put out an internal memo that has typos in it.
I would love this to be true though.
Fake.
Why would they make a Mario Kart 9 when Mario Kart 8 is selling like hotcakes now. The thing with Nintendo is... They generally keep one game per generation with a few exceptions. The reason is because it keeps value. People buy Nintendo games by the boatload because they know that another one isn't coming out in 2 years. So why would a Splatoon 3 be out soon? I an sort of believe Mario Odyssey because they have released 2 single player games of the same seris in a generation before.

Lol, well as for the Mario Kart question, it's been out for almost 7 years now. Wouldn't you want a new one?!
There's no way they're going to release a 4k capable Switch... I just can't see it at all. It's gotta be fake.

The thing is, people are still buying Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by the boatload. I personally want a new Mario Kart with new level designs. They added more dlc to the Switch version to make up for it being a port, but still. Nintendo doesn't really need to make a new Mario Kart until next generation. Like if they don't make a new Mario Kart this generation, I an see the game having around 40 million units sold when it's all said and done. So why would they release a new one that takes money and effort, when they can profit from selling a port and some dlc packs?
However, I can totally see it for Mario Odyssey. Zelda had two games release in the same generation twice. Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time where in the same generation. That's because they were direct sequels, so it did make sense. Also, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Then it's the same for Mario during the Wii generation. Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2. Meanwhile, I don't see any generation where they released 2 Mario Kart games on the same platform. The closest to different Mario Kart games in the same generation are console and handheld.
@luxuryheart: Nintendo releasing multiple mainline Mario games in the same generation goes back to the Famicom/NES era when it released the original Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 (called Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels in the West), the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2 (Nintendo of America felt that the original game was difficult), and Super Mario Bros. 3. Nintendo releasing that many mainline Mario games in a single generation may never happen again because of the increasing cost of game development and the more time needed to complete modern games.
Seems fake if that’s official it’s poorly formatted and a bit all over the place. Also a few spelling and punctuation mistakes.
