Rumor of Halo DS!!!!(From Matt Casamassina)

Article- "Matt Casamassina was set to prove that Halo DS did exist. The plans were to show the game off via his blog. Days turned into weeks, and nothing ever came of it. Now Matt Casamassina has confirmed via a board post over on IGN's boards that the Halo DS proof is indeed still coming. The bad news is that you will have to wait until after E3 to see it. With the week being so hectic it would be just a tad hard to find the free time to show that off."

Wow :shock: I could never see this happening. This is news to me.

Apparently Matt has gotten a few rumors right in the past and that makes everyone take everything he says seriously.

I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

Well we just have to wait till after E3, it could be either a trailer or the rumor that it was BS.

i wouldnt mind a Halo ds game!!! and the thought of Nintendo and Microsoft together. GO Wii60. its like Peter said last year: "why spend 600 dollars on a ps3 when you can buy both the 360 and the wii for the same?" ya, im all about a Nintendo Microsoft team-up :)jazreal

Yeah some report on tv said that it has a defective rate of over 30% and my parnets think everything should last at least 5 years.

I am glad I am getting my new PC to max Crysis and it only cost $1500.

Likewise, I've not heard of Matt telling an outright lie either. I've seen plenty of people run with the things he says though, but never something that Matt was responsible for.

In any case, why is Halo DS so hard to believe? It's not hard to imagine that it would've happened at one point.

if this is true then it must be a big kick in the teeth for microsoft, i think it would also debunk any xbox portable rumers as i dont think microsoft would allow their key franchise to come out on ds and xbox portable.pro-nathan-07

yikes...good point. MP:H wasn't exactly the pinnacle of handheld FPS controls, and I don't really know any game that pulls it off flawlessly.

Action/Adventure-Yes( wold be cool thir person game)
Real Time Strategy-Yes(if its like halo wars)
Turned based game-Hell no
Card Game- Im not gonna say no just picture someone shaking there head in dissapointment(PS NO)

This rumor of Halo DS is literally 2 years old. I believed he posted an article/blog post 1-2 years ago, with footage on the DS Lite, why this is resurfacing again is beyond me.-Karmum-

i trust Matt. he's not just a sheep.

Those ASH screens are old. We finally got some new ones from a bad quality scan recentlyso I can't say for sure how it really looks now but what I could make out looked pretty darn great.

Also beside ASH and Ninja Gaiden, Dragon Quest IX andFFIV remake looks great aswell. I'm sure a talented developer like Bungie would be able to make something good on it.
