Aside from fixing combat, if they kept the pacing more action packed it could be pretty good.I bet they could also be more flexible in development not having to tie in a stupid movie bits that resulted in more pre-planning of game and not allowing for flexibility.

Whats wrong with the combat?
With Remedies normal time table. It is nice to look forward to a sequel to play on the way to Mars in 2035.
@carlquincy:MS.
Don't hold me too much to this, but I believe it was first conceived around that time MS wanted to have their own studios for programs, movies etc. Like the Halo movie and tv shows. Don't know who thought that was a good idea, oh that's right Donny Matrick.
Got to hand it to them they took a big risk with QB. The game play was great, story as well. But the TV show in between (although well done) just did not really work. The game was too short, I got my 1,000 points and had no reason to go back. A horde mode would have been awesome in that game.
It's a game that only die-hard lemmings like OP can enjoy.
I dont own an Xbox One.
More importantly, join date = may 5, 2018. Welcome back.
Well its something , better than nothing. As i said like a year ago would be wise for MS have such titles for X1 as time exclusives for few months or a year before they end up on PC so gain a bit a momentum VS PS4. They never listen to me, noone !!! What is wrong with people !
The gameplay was pretty good but the intrusive and regular cutscenes, force walk mechanics and at times the visuals obstructing your view definitely undermined the game.
Agreed. I always said the biggest issue for me was too few action sequences. I LMAO at Peter *no game playing ability* Brown on the Lobby when he said "this is most definitely a cover shooter". Yeah if you didn't know how to strategically use the powers I'm sure it was. Not the game's fault he sucked whale smegma at playing it.
More shootouts and power usage was drastically needed. The TV show was funded by MS and I enjoyed it. Some actors really proved their character ability in it. Without the funding Remedy wont be doing it again so people can stop crying.
I am up for more QB, the first was a baseline good game imo, 7/10. Nothing to jump around about but the powers were fun to juggle and take on groups of enemies with. Just make the next one heavy on the action now that the time "egg" has been saved.

You are the only other person on SW to acknowledge the fact that QB was taking a risk. I read over and over how they don't take risks. In truth what people are trying to say is the risks they take don't light the world on fire and thems the breaks folks. QB was barely good game. Not great, not a game to be replayed for teh awesomeness but I'll play it all year before I play a Penisona game LOL
Quantum Break had a lot of interesting ideas but they kind of felt wasted on a mediocre TV show with a limited number of bland combat scenarios and few enemy types. His powers never really evolved to become badass either. I'd be down for a sequel with less TV and more focus on time powers than guns. The first Quantum Break was enjoyable for a playthrough but not a standout title. That said, this rumor doesn't look completely reliable. And it doesn't help the fact that Quantum Break didn't have any DLC to begin with and so with that, QB2 is highly unlikely.
And besides, their next game is a multiplatform which is good for Remedy's part and being published by 505 games.
There's no way this is true because the game is multiplatform and Microsoft owns the Quantum Break IP it's either a new IP or Alan Wake 2 .Even though Remedy said it's not Alan Wake 2 they could be lying for a surprise at E3. Remedy does own Alan Wake so there's a small chance but my guess it's a new IP.

"Penisona"... give me a break.
A sequel to a shit stain of a game. I hope this rumor is fake. A copy of an existing game is not taking a risk. Rabid Xbox Fanatics are really reaching saying Xbox Division take risk or their definition of risk is moving the goalpost like everything else they do here.
