Black people always look for something to call racist, I'm black and I observe this all the time. To be honest, while most blacks appear to be free they remain mentally shackled to the slave mentality. Sad but true. But back to RE5, its not racist one bit. Its just a game, no different from the past ones.
Interestinglym both locations would be acceptable, as voodoo/zombies originated in West Africa but has an underground following in Haiti. BTW, the only thing that would make this game even more controversial if it took place in New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina turned everyone into voodoo zombies.
The only reason people are saying it is racist is because the zombies are black. You heard nothing about racism in RE4 when all the zombies were spanish. Kind of wierd that the only time racism is brought up anymore is when it is against black people, but that's America for you.
People make such a big deal about this, i'm from Venezuela and the hole thing of Mercenaries 2 makes no sence to me, i just play the game.
Plus if a Zombie was after me, i just blow it's head off, i don't care if it's white, black, red, purple, yellow, american, asian african, latinor whatever.
