Still delayed. GS said it's coming the same time as the 360.

Rein Said there was a possibility for a December release. He also says that now the PS3 version will have all the maps the PC version has.

Mark Rein would only say that there's a "chance" it'll come out in December. Doesn't really inspire much confidence, especially not when you look at the rest of the PR'ish wording in his statements, like "we will only ship it once it's ready and is the best game we can deliver" and "a little extra time in development means that now the PS3 version will have all of the same maps as the PC version which wasn't previously expected to be the case". Midway mentioning that UT3 was being moved to fiscal Q1 2008 basically confirms it, really. Epic is known for having perfectionist tendencies when developing games, too, similar to Blizzard. This is what Mark Rein posted on Epics forums:

"As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay. But our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007. However, we will only ship it once it's ready and is the best game we can deliver. The PC version is still on track for a November release."

It seems it's not set in stone one way or another. It's just a question of preparing Midways shareholders for the worst case scenario.

And he added:

"Yes, there is a chance it will come out in December.

In addition there is some good news as well. A little extra time in development means that now the PS3 version will have all of the same maps as the PC version which wasn't previously expected to be the case." Emphasis not mine.

According to this, it is now fact that it will have all the PC versions maps. As far as I'm concerned, that's great.
