Kotaku is reporting that Dylan Jobe's new studio is working on Warhawk and it'll be in space! I know, that's pretty epic, right? Right! Now let's hope we see this sucker soon. Who's with me?

I thought you didn't like warhawk at allGiancar
Put it in space, tighten up the gameplay, and I'm in. I didn't like MGS4 or Halo 2, but I liked other games in those franchises.
Get rid of foot soldiers and im for it.loco145Agreed. Warhawk and Halo are the only online games where I actually like vehicle combat, and hate infantry with a passion.
I thought you didn't like Warhawk, why would you hype a similar game? Anyways if true I hope it turns out good.

That was already answered.

I didn't like the infantry in Warhawk either, but I think if they really try and work on the infantry it could be a good game. I just liked to pretty much fly and own people in that game.
So its Starwars Battlefront essentially. ...hopesfall2ownI didn't like the original but if this turns out to be like BF I'm buying it :D
if it gets a actually single player campaign I might actually start to care b/c then it could be a next gen Star Fox, otherwise its warhawk in space .. wow :?Sonic_on_crackwhy does it need a campaign? a campaign lasts like, what, a week? at most? unless its a really kickass single player then i dont really care
I hope this is part of a full fledged sequel. I like the expansions but it needs a sequel, one with acampain!

I can't speek for Sonic_on_crack, but I usually only play with my friends online, which I love to do. When they are offline, however, I want to play a single player game in the mean time, so having a game with both comes in handy and feels more like a complete package.

wont touch star was battlefront.Warhawk in space, don't be silly, what about vehicles and ground fighting. Although the planes are a big part of it.
Warhawks controlled really well. But overall needed more tightening up, and options for more damage per shot.
Keep the infantry combat, as otherwise this will just be another arcadey flight game. But for on ground combat make the players actually controll well this time. They looked like an unbridled ol' fella on viagra, and controlled the way they looked in Warhawk 1. They need to really tighten up the on foot action, as it was the main reason I stopped playing it...Not to mention the fact that you had to pump a round and a half of ammo into enemies to maybe kill them.
All online games should have the option for one shot kill games, three shot to body and one to head games, and take it up to maybe 10 shot kills max. Also all online games should have the option for bots, and online players can take the place of bots as they join.
ok, ppl will think i'm crazy and a fanboy but thinking about a space warhawk has got me excited, but another IP i love could use this
So my plea is directed at,....Nintendo. Kidnapped Incognito, kidnapp everyone working on space Warhawk, and just change everything to Star Fox and give the wii its first killer exclusive TPS!
hey a boy can dream? if this is true awesome, though that means Warhawk updates will slowly disappear
Agreed. Warhawk and Halo are the only online games where I actually like vehicle combat, and hate infantry with a passion.[QUOTE="Legolas_Katarn"][QUOTE="loco145"]Get rid of foot soldiers and im for it.lundy86_4

hell, if it's in space they could have space suits, which would give them a shot at a new health system, new weapons since if you don't know already, normal bullets suck in space. they kinda slide out of the gun before you pull the trigger, from the you know.... vacuum....That would ruin the games balancing completely, I prefer to play infantry and most weapons are instant kill, I think you talking about the machine gun. if you dodge an enemies rockets or his flame thrower (Not to hard) and you go at em with the machine gun you win. What I want gone is that god dam camera missile, you can beat of the entire enemy team for the flag and all it takes is one dude with that thing to stop you. Its easy enough for warhawks to kill infantry and tanks without it.Warhawks controlled really well. But overall needed more tightening up, and options for more damage per shot.

I guess I know how you felt about the game now, but I loved Warhawk, and if it's true that it's going to be in space, I am going to buy nine copies.
No joke.
Also, I thought you didn't like WarHawk? :P
