Yawn another reboot. having same name like MW is now called MW and black ops now called black ops. activision again show that they lack creativity.
Meh... if the campaign offers something interesting, I'll play it eventually.
why people expect campaign good from COD? they are 4 hours, follow orders, shoot, perform QTE, watch cutscene, end.
there are much better FPS that made for SP campaign.
@ghosts4ever: I know this may shock you, but sometimes people like things that you may not... shocking I know!!!!!
@hrt_rulz01: Can you really like the same half-assed campaign for 10+ years?
Actually Mr. Juub1990, I'm with @hrt_rulz01 that I also enjoy playing the campaign for any Call of Duty games and I always prefer Campaigns over MP. That said, I'm actually looking forward to Modern Warfare mainly for the new engine it's using and of course, campaign.
Just drop the Call of Duty from Mondern Warfare and Black Ops, and take Call of Duty to its own separate routes.
Black Ops is bigger name than CoD name itself.
@Juub1990: Yeah, some of them I did enjoy... absolutely. Like their last campaign (WW2), I really liked.
Plus the original Modem Warfare is still one of my fav FPS campaigns.

They're so accustomed to the modern AAA shit by now, they don't even know any better. Their brains would prob explode if they had to do anything besides push forward and shoot the bad guys that pop up in a FPS.
As long as it has a campaign mode for me to enjoy and more fun multiplayer modes then I’ll certainly buy it. I don’t really mind if they reboot it or not.
More gritty than this COD releasing this year? I hope the game journalists get ready to play the next COD next year.
If the campaign is going to be good than count me in playing the rebooted MW.
Also, I want a taste of the multiplayer 100vs100. I think its going to similar to SW Battlefront multiplayer than Battlefield.
FPS campaigns are brutally boring. The last two that I can say that I enjoyed were Titanfall 2 and COD Infinite Warfare. The variety in gameplay and mechanics made those campaigns enjoyable. I couldn’t get myself to play them more than once though. A shooter without a competitive atmosphere seems pointless to me.

Yeah, i'm with you guys on this. I wish there were more modern story/SP based military shooters.
I really enjoyed Call of Duty 4's campaign. When it came out, it was one of the few polished modern fps games that had pretty good missions. I came from Halo and Battlefield 2, which of course, had no campaign. It was fresh to me and the nuke level was jaw-dropping for me at the time.
I'm glad they're putting more emphasis on the campaigns. To me, Call of Duty 4's campaign was the peak.
Why do the big publishers have so much trouble coming up with new names for things? Are their marketing departments made up entirely of unpaid interns?
Replicating movies.

It's easy to remember that's the only reason.
I promise sooner or later The Rock is gonna be in one of these COD games.
Yeah probably like Ice cube, though I did like him in the game.

you mean Dwayne Johnson? he is one of the most overrated actor. most of his movies are crap.
