So this time around the villain is breaking bad character.

also it bring voiced protagonist rather than create a character mute.

even though its just another far cry. atleast setting is not bland and dull like far cry 5 one.

One day their will be a post Crytek Far Cry game where you can finish the game properly before getting bored and fucking off to play something else.

It was Far cry 2. better than Crytek Far cry. and was ubisoft STALKER.

since then series become boring.

I feel, Far Cry 2 was an idea game, with poor execution. It wanted to be Heart Of Darkness but it ended up being the Tin man in desperate need of a heart.

Far Cry 3 had you play as a white hero saving all black people, bit racist. But has a good titty scene.

Far Cry 4 is actually the best game, but nobody cares about it.

Far Cry 5 I did not play because spam.

Far Cry 6 I will not play because spam.

That other one, with the neon shit, didn't play.

Breaking Bad dude and and bad looking CGI child will not be enough to rekindle interest.

Its Assassins creed of FPS. same rehash, no difference.

Far cry 2 was great due to being more immersive and realistic.

Me too one of my favorite games this gen, as for FC6 looks interesting.

The tropical setting sounds like a return to the Far Cry 3 roots. Still not interested in Ubisoft open world games though.

As much as I would like to be able to sit here and talk shit about Ubisoft, I have to admit some things:

• I don't think there has been a Far Cry game I have not enjoyed. Yes, even Primal and FC 2.
• I don't think there has been an Assassin's Creed game I have not enjoyed. Yes, even AC 3.
• I probably played more Ubisoft games over the last two years than from any other publisher.

With that said, I really do not like crossovers. With that said, it's shame they [might] go with this Breaking Bad character...

I don't have much faith in it to be honest. Yeah Vaas was cool until 1/2 3/4 in the game until it got replaced. The rest was meh.

Far Cry died when Crytek sold it to Ubisoft.

I checked the synopsis and this will not be a Breaking Bad Far Cry. More like an Just Cause-like setting: a revolution in a small Latin American country with lots of cheesy Spanish references.

Also the American representation of Spanish people in movies and videogames makes me cringe so hard. The most annoying thing they do is speak English interlaced with some Spanish words that, to American ears, sound exotic, but to Spanish people, dumb as ****. I have never seen so much patronizing bullshit as Americans trying to related to Spanish people. You either speak full Spanish or full English you dumb mofos. Spanglish is the ugliest shit that Americans have created, too lazy to actually learn decent Spanish.

Oh hell yeah! That’s awesome! Going to have to get this game just for Giancarlo Esposito alone.

At least they have great diversity with their villains.

The guy is great, like him a bunch. And i can already see the main villain to be well written and acted, as they all were from FC3 and on. But gameplay, oh dat gameplay. Fly drones to scan, climb shit to unveil chores on the map and take control of 100 000 camps. Exciting stuff, really ☺😊☺😊☺

Fc 5 was great and one of the best shooters this generation! So definitely up for another, but not to keen on going back into a jungle setting, hasn’t that already been done to death??

@Pedro: I enjoyed the hell out of Far Cry 5. I love all the games except Primal. I actually bought an Xbox One X mainly because of Far Cry 5. Which ever next-gen console has the best version of Far Cry 6 will get my money.

So happy Giancarlo Esposito is becoming more popular and he was great as Moff Gideon in Mandalorian. I'm totally down for him in Far Cry 6 now that its been confirm by Ubisoft. Valhalla & now Far cry 6, looks like I got two Ubi games to look forward to :)

I‘ve enjoyed Far Cry 3 to 5. The only other one I played was 2 and that sucked. It was very unrealistic and not that immersive.

When i read "AssCreed was great, one of my fav games this generation" or "FCx is the best shooter and one of the best game of this generation" i genuinely can't tell if people are trolling or serious. I mean, how little do you have to expect from your gameplay to have these two franchises anywhere near the "one of the best this generation"? Like seriously. If you like these games for their gameplay, you might as well buy yourself a shiny red ball, close the door to your room, and just throw it around like it was an entertaining activity.

Put me in the "I enjoyed Far Cry 5" camp too. I actually like the domestic setting.

I love FC3 and Blood Dragon, 4 was kind meh to me... but the setting of this seems more appealing to me then 4 and 5's.

To be honest, look at all the hype surrounding FPS these days:

It's either been Valorant or Hyper Scape.

Both free to play online shooters. I'm really missing the big upcoming singleplayer FPS?

At least far cry is an upcoming high profile singleplayer FPS, eventhough it has all its downsides.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aaron Paul ends up in a Far Cry game in the future.

I am not so much setting concerned as I am about the gameplay design. I didn't much care for FC5 for a lot of reasons, and the FC3 Classic was a lazy remaster with some of the worst audio design I have heard all generation.

I have 90 hours in Far Cry 2 and over 50 hours in Far Cry 3 but this series really needs to die.

Got bored of FC4 about 5 hours in. Lasted 2-3 hours in Primal. FC5 I played with a friend so managed 10 hours or so but gave up.

Will not buy FC6.

I liked Far Cry 4, love Far Cry 5 and loved New Dawn even more (New Dawn infamously hated by people who have never played it, such an under-rated game).

Currently playing Far Cry 5 again and it's such a fantastic game. It doesn't have that Ubisoft cluttered feel to it, just a great open world full of great characters and great gunplay and driving and flying around is great fun.

Far Cry 6 is now top of my wishlist specially with Esposito involved he's an excellent actor. Apart from Elden Ring this is the only game that made me think I've got to have this when I saw the news.

I just hope they don't completely destroy it by riddling it with microtransactions the way they did with Ghost Recon Breakpoint. I hope they've learned their lesson, it doesn't have to be all about greed, all of the time. Fingers crossed.

Maybe Ubisoft's future plans for the franchise include having other actors from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul in every other installment.

I played 1-4 all the way, but was burnout at fc5. Still one of my fave series.

Meh, I'll keep an eye on it. FC is probably the only Ubi series I'm still interested in (maybe Watch Dogs as well) but they're starting to get dull and filled with the usual Ubi boring filler.

Why won't it? If asscreed has it, FC is almost guaranteed to have it as well. Its how they lure you to their cash shop.

I'm looking forward to seeing more on far ry 6 I thought the story and characters in 5 were very good the breaking bad character sounds like a good move.

I hope this theory is true if so FC6 would be a prequel to 3 obviously.
