Rumour: Next GTA game to be set in Hollywood?

Details:

Eurogamer has learned from an independent source that Rockstar is ramping up research on locations around Hollywood.

Earlier today we heard that Tinseltown could well be the setting for Grand Theft Auto V.

Our source could not say whether the research was specific to the GTA series.

Game maker Rockstar told Eurogamer it doesn't comment on "rumour or speculation".

I don't know about you guys, but I could definitely do with a new GTA game. Here's hoping for a GTA game in 2011. Do you think Hollywood would be a good setting for GTA? I know SA had a section similar to Hollywood, but that game had a lot of things :P

I'm hoping for somewhere outside of the US, would make a nice change.

That could be a good place to have it, although after playing Mafia2 demo.. I dont think ill tough another GTA game again to be honest haha.

i dont know what it is but the Mafia series is just so much more fun to me... only thing I can think of is that Mafia is more storya nd character driven, while GTA is more exploring and messing around most the time.

I honestly don't care about GTA anymore. As far as I'm concerned it's a last gen game.

My preference is modern day VICE CITY, but Hollywood is still cool. CALIFORNIA LOVE.

Yeah I recalled hearing about this about two weeks ago and I would prefer London as a destination or rather have some made up city as the setting.

I still think Shibuya, Japan would be pretty sick.

Well, if you remember clearly San Andreas was sort of a Hollywood, it had that big billboard written ''Vinewood'', and to top it all I have heard a rumor that GTA V would be back in San Andreas.

It`s showing the cover of a limited edition guide for GTA IV which says: '' Liberty City, it`s over! Next Stop'' > ( Image here)

By the looks of the image it looks a lot like San Andreas! There`s the tree, a hill and so on.

I honestly don't care about GTA anymore. As far as I'm concerned it's a last gen game.
