I like slow ones

I am a Zombie purist and must say I prefer the shambling Zombies that win with numbers not speed. I did however love the Zack Snyder remake of "Dawn of the Dead" and those were runners.
Faster the Better, makes adrenaline pump faster. Love when they are pretending to be zombies and his buddy has the cellphone convo.I dunno, this is a tough one. I always liked the slow ones but after movies like 28 days later and games like L4D fast ones are pretty scary. I think Sean of the Dead did alot to take the creepiness from slow moving ones for me lol.

Ummm the zombies in quake will rip out their guts and throw it at you lol. plus you cant kill them with bullets only way to kill them is by gibbing them aka blowing them up into pieces lolNone.
Zombies are by far the lamest damn enemy design. Run at player... done. What else do they do? Ummm well they run at the player. :|

But runners are usually faster to kill as well. It all depends on the game design really. As for scary, neither.Runners, they are way scarier.
The slow ones are easy to outrun, those runners are fast as hell.Lto_thaG
Everyone knows the BEST zombies are dancing zombies. Thriller ftw. As for running vs. slow, they both have their place. I respect slow zombies that like to do the ambush... you know, wait inside of a cramped area like a washing machine and pop out when you least expect it haha. Return of the Living dead zombies are pretty scary cuz they don't. die.buuzer0
i was just thinking i want to see a game with the zombie Michael jackson from the thriller video in as an easter egg
i like slow zombies in video games sometimes fast but in movies fast zombies because in movies i cant see how people geet overwhelmed whith really slow zombieschas32Numbers man numbers they win with numbers.

agreed, i however did not like Snyder's remake of DOTD. come on...RUNNIN ZOMBIES?!?! you gotta be kidding me, 28 days later things are not zombies but the infected living, which i loved, but i prefer slow zombies in the thousands, no escaping them, anything from Lucio Fulci's zombies, to George Romero's latest zombie's

Give credit to the white knuckled first 20 minutes of DOTD remake at least. The scenes in the neighborhood with the utter chaos were delicious for any Zombie fan.[QUOTE="mocsun23"]

I like running zombies, they make a game more intense, I dontl ike them to always run though, I only like it when they run when they get angry like in Left 4 Dead, and at a stretch Cod Waw Nazi Zombies.
They can be whatever they feel like as long as they bring more to the game than simple cannon fodder.
Though in appearance sweet and cuddly, the DoubleBear is in fact one of the most fearsome monsters ever to exist, ever. It is two bears, and yet just one bear. Can it hope to be comprehended?

The most fearsome?
Even though this picture gives the moment no justice.
I like a mixture of both. Kinda like crisom head zombies in REmake. They start of slow, but can turn fast. If I had to pick one it would be slow. More of a number games with them.
AND EAT THEIR BRAINS!!!! they dont just run into you, they start to systematically eat you. I love zombies :)None.
