This game has got the graphics, the gameplay and a decent story. Well looking forward to playing it.

Certainly has the production values. Graphics look great. Voice acting is ace.

I'm just not impressed with the gameplay they've shown us.

This is a launch title and it looks mindbogglingly good(arguably the best looking game in existence). The graphics in 5-6 years will be incomprehensible.

Looks really good, and I'm loving the atmosphere and story thats slowly coming out. Its one of my two launch day games and I';m hoping its as good as I think it will be.,

Damn that's a pretty game. Crytek once again shows that they are the masters of production values. That CryEngine is certainly powerful. It's a shame their games never play as good as they look.

If the gameplay in the single player holds up to what I've seen recently, I think we could be very surprised by the gameplay. But the multiplayer co-op remains a mess. No doubt the single player will sink or swim the game. But I'm really looking forward to it.

Is there a reason they just stopped showing gameplay? It's like they gave up on the idea that this game is going to be any fun, so now they are just selling its visuals and production values.

Which is probably a VERY good idea because it looks beautiful and the voice acting is well done.

as wasdie said, crytek make some beautiful games, cryengine is awesome, they should hire better game ddesigners though so they can really bring the power of the engine with a great game.

Hope it looks and plays better on PS4 though, we all know it's probably a timed exclusive like titan fall.

It does in cutscenes, but what I noticed is that the game play looks really inferior to those cutscenes.

I've been hard on this game in the past but it looks gorgeous.

I like the setting. Graphics look good (not the best I've seen) and gameplay looks very bland. Will definitely look better on PS4 though.

Killzone is far and away the BEST looking game on ANY console. Thats just real talk. And it can be proven with actual gameplay footage (unlike with Ryse! )

Killzone CRUSHES Ryse, has much bigger-more open levels, and to boot still looks much better

Killzone PROVES PS4 could even be MORE then 50% more powerful then xbone, and its 100$ cheaper too. PS4 all day every day.

Even if Ryse were an actual interesting game (trailer looks so cliche) and had actual great in-gameplay graphics, I would STILL never buy an over-priced, under-powered, spybox capable xbone just for one game lol

What are you talking about the same story? It is Roman history, not Greek. Obviously you know nothing of history and ranting like a baby in this thread for no reason whatsoever. I for one, am Italian and appreciate any game with a good story of my heritage(fact/fiction). No one is saying this game will be out of this world but the graphics are undeniably beautiful, cut scene or in single player. If the story is good and the combat is decent, I'm happy. "Same" as in "oh, dude's family dies and now he wants revenge." It's kind of something that's been done before. And revenge stories are often handled very poorly.

Thus far the game doesn't look impressive in anything other than graphics. The gameplay looks dull, and the story, from what we've seen so far and what we know of Crytek's pedigree, doesn't look like it'll do a whole lot to impress.

You will struggle to find a game that hasn't been done before. Doesn't mean it wont be done well.

I don't really have a lot of faith in the gaming industry to do a decent revenge story. Nothing about it looks particularly good. It just looks like it's taking itself way too seriously for its own good. Plenty in the way of pompous and bombastic presentation, but little in the way of giving me a reason to care.

Except the cutscenes in Ryse are not pre rendered but are running in real time :D

To be fair, at the time God of War's story was very unique, but yeah that story of warrior revenge has been run into the ground since haha. God of War remains the pinnacle of that story in games though

We'll wait and see. People I know who've played the demo at XBox One Tour said the game play pretty good. It probably won't be perfect, but as long as it's fun and the campaign doesn't end in 4-6hrs, I'll be happy. Went to Gamestop last night and they said PS4 Kiosk should be in stores by the end of the week in the U.S.
