Ryse or The Flop 1886

Haven't played Ryse, but The Order isn't brilliant so far.

I doubt many people have played both. Ask again in a week. I got halfway through Ryse and got incredibly bored. Haven't played The Order though I can already tell it's really not for me from what I've seen so far.

Ryze.. only because you have to be really bad at story telling to mess up steampunk Dracula... like really? all you had to do was throw in werewolves and witches with a regular story and be monster hunters or w/e. Would have been better than this mess jesus..

The Order 1886: Son of Flop

Ryse is a launch title and launch titles are always suspect since they follow a strict timeline to make that new system launch release date. I feel like the final product was rushed so even porting it over to the PC at a later date, it's still using that rushed foundation and it wouldn't make it any better. Getting more development time would have been better. The Order had more development time to get things right and even after delaying it, it still failed. If Ryse had the same development time as The Order, it would have been even more better because the Ryse developer's aren't know for mostly handheld games like RAD. You know The Order that's coming out the second year of a system is really bad when their fans brings up a launch title. They want to make Ryse look bad but it backfires because it only highlights how much worse The Order really is.

Just thought I'd add your thread is for Xbox fanboys mainly and you should have made that obvious as you are hating on The Order EVEN in the poll. Be more honest about it next time.

Ryse looks cool as hell to me.. I don't have an X box one but that was one of the launch titles I was interested in becasue of the setting , love roman stuff.

At least Ryse doesn't need to cover the screen with black bars to look good

I found Ryse to be ok especially for a launch title, 1886 is mediocre for about half the game then turns into RE6 mark 2 QTE movie wannabe.

I have both. Give me a few hours to play The Order and I will get back to you :p.

Ryse on PC is a stunner. I'm excited to see The Order in person. I find gifs and screens shots usually look much better than the game actually does in person. The DriveClub I play looks waaayyyyyy more jaggie than the gifs you seen online.

I was hoping also. I haven't played order, but I had some fun with ryse's online because it was different.

So Ryse is the flopper

The Order at least looks ok if uninspired, so I'd go with it. Ryse just looks awful.
