s it too late to buy a ps3???

ive only had my xbox 360 this gen and i love it, but im very interested in purchasing a ps3 espically cuz the deals. what im askig is, is it worth it if as the rumors suggest a ps4 would come out next year. im a techie guy and love buying the new and best.

Of course not -- I had a 360 all this gen as well and really want a PS3 now. Currently waiting for the $200 PS3 bundle deal to resurface and i'm buying one the moment I see it. And even if the PS4 is confirmed next year, you can always sell the PS3/trade-in for store credit towards it.

They are still selling, new bundles being made, new games being made.

Well yeah, the later you buy a console, the better it is.

Biggest ever library, hardware problems have been more or less ironed out and you have a huge install base for MP games.

Most definitely! = ) After seeing TLU and Beyond TS at E3 this year, I just couldn't resist any longer. Plenty of games I want to play on it overall though. Can't wait!

PS3 was $199 in Black Friday.. where were you? heck some shops offered a $199 PS3 with 4 games

PS3 was $199 in Black Friday.. where were you? heck some shops offered a $199 PS3 with 4 games

Yah I know. That was still in-stock early yesterday as well. But like, I didn't get the money to buy one until yesterday evening. Now it's sold out everywhere I check -- really hoping it pops up again at that price point soon.

Secondly many of the best PS3 exclusives can be found at very cheap prices as well... Finally you can enjoy free online play for any mp oriented titles on PS3 so got no additional costs...

Yeah. Buy one if you've never had one. You can always sell it again if it's not for you.
