Sadness (Wii) New Artwork (Possible 3D model?)

They look nice, and in my opinion the one of the old man looks a bit too 3D-ish for a sketch?
Maybe a character model? Though I doubt the Wii could pull that off. Maybe a render done on the PC like those early shots of Raid over the River (Wii) ???

Most likely this game will be a major dissapointment or not even come out. But if it does and it lives up to all the hype Nibris is fueling it with then it should be very good.

With Sadness I see a promising new developer trying something different. I'm keeping a close eye on this one.

In system Wars. One day about two months ago, I entered system Wars and seen about three to four threads saying Sadness has been canceled.....

If Nibris keeps their word and the game looks "close to the art", I will be soo happy!

Well I didn't entered none of the threads because I was afraid my IQ would drop if I entered it so I left it alone...

I don't understand what the big fuss is over this game.. There's no real gameplay details, no in-game screen shots, and its being made by a developer that has yet to release a single game.

I'm not trying to say the game is going to be bad, I'm just saying I don't understand why people seem to be so confident that it will be anything spectacular. There's not enough information on the game or a experienced developer backing it to say either way.

No 3d models there, It's all 2d concept art, the house is a mix of photos though. (I do concept art /illustration myself, it's very easy to tell what's what)

Anyway, I look forward to seeing some gameplay, I like the idea of the game and it seems promising.

I hate that sheep are hyping this game - seriously, we know absolutely nothing about it other than some dark artwork. Escape from Bug Island looked like "oh wow, this mature game where you use Wiimote to weild weapons" - right up until the graphics we saw in demos were final, and the gameplay was revealed to be utter crap.

This is some artwork, I take it no more seriously than a Fable 2 wallpaper that promises "this game will revolutionize how you game". I'll believe it when I see it.

I echo the sentiments of the people who do not understand why anyone cares about this game. A supposed game you know nothing about from a developer you know nothing about. Apart from the fact that they can't spell.

It becomes even more difficult to understand when the game is such an obvious piece of vaporware.

It's the best looking Wii game IMO. Looks very good.

It the idea of an all black and white game done the same way has Sin City and for the Wii fan it also the fact that it a Wii only game. That is dark and a "M" type game. I think the "M" type game reason is a bad reason to want a game but for the Nintendo fans trying to prove that there system is grown up it is a big deal.

Maybe because Gears of War was not designed to be played in B&W. There is a world of difference between something that is intended to be viewed/played in B&W (for example, a film shot in B&W)and viewing/playing something in B&W that is supposed to be seen in color.

I'm just saying, playing a game in Black and white isn't nearly as enjoyable as I thought it could be but it depends on the atmosphere. I could play RE4 like that.... Awesome. I just felt like telling the world that I've played Gears in B&W, I thought that you should know.
