Saints Row 3 coming to Switch.

Just announced at the Gamescom opening ceremony. It's being ported by "Deep Silver FISHLABS".

Kind of an odd choice, but it's still pretty good.

Worst in the series. Saint's Row 1&2 managed to capture the fun of GTA games and then some. Saint's Row III lacked any enjoyment imho.

I never even bothered with Saint's Row 4 after how bad the third one was.

Not a fan of saints row but if this means that switch is getting real 3rd party support and gives the console longevity, I'm fine with it, even if I play all multiplats on PS4

I couldn't disagree more with that. 3 was FAR superior to it predecessors in my opinion.

The Switch already has real third party support.
This is just one of many games already out/or announced.

Saints Row 3? 3?!!

Checked the release date of the original. Eight years ago. I still remember the pre-release hype and that trailer and that song like it was yesterday. Wow. I feel old.

@Sgt_Crow: this is good, really, but what I mostly want from switch are games developed exclusively to it.

I really hope it's going to become the real home for high quality JRPGs with excellent artstyle.

Mkay. I'm personally a bit tired of crappy PS and Xbox games getting ported to Switch with the price of a new game. But cool for those 3 people who wanted Saint's Row 3 on Switch, I guess..

Switch should be for cool and original games. Leave the PS and Xbox crap out, please.

I'm sorry, but Nintendo pretty much skipped 2 gens with the wii and wiiu, so i kind of get the ports of these games, just not why they picked 3 and not 4, or their last game that flopped.

Saints Row: The Third release back in 2011, for a 7 year old game, Deep Silver better not start charging $60 cause this game is super cheap to buy now.

I got the complete edition on PSN for 3 bucks.

SR4 was also a lot of fun, but pretty damn ridiculous. I actually replayed it a couple weeks ago, it has not aged well lol. Still a lot of fun, though.

Yep SR3 was great was easily the best.

No reason not to do a Saints row collection with all 4 games. I would get that.

Saints Row 3 and 4+Gat out of hell are the absolute best in that series and I hope they make another in that style.

Its the weakest of SR games, imo...

SR2 is still the best, despite its looks. SRIV and 1 are also ace games. SR3 just has so weak story, and it tries too much to be funny (and failing most of the time)

Saints Row 3 and 4 were so trash. The first 2 were good games and maybe the best GTA clones out there. Then they turned it into superheroes, wrestling moves and giant dildos for no apparent reason.

Great game. Like GTA 4 if it was fun.

Probably try charge a contemporary price though.

Got SR4 for plus all dlc for $5 on Steam during the Summer sale. 3 was at a similar price. Now hey're going to charge 4 or 5 times that (at least) for an inferior version? LOL

Hopefully this is a sign that 5 is on the way. 4 is reasonably enjoyable.
