Splinter Cell is supposed to be a realistic stealth game right? But how come Sam Fisher wears three green lights on his head and his enemies cant detect him in the dark? I mean the enemy AI is so bad. I mean I was sneaking and the enemies were pointing their flashlights in an already lit area and cant see 3 bright green lights on Fisher's head. Laughable. Especially his latest one Double Agent. Standing in the dark, 2 inches away from an enemy with 3 green bright lights and they cant detect you?
But in MGS the sneaking is more realistic. Enemies can detect you even while you are standing in darkness. Snake wears no lights on him and his enemies can still detect him. His camoflauge suit does not promise 100% stealth. Not only that, the sneaking in MGS is much more satisfying.
At last but not least, Snake is a better weapons handler than Fisher. He can use a broad variety of weapons. Fisher and his SCOK attachments and silenced pistol are laughable.
Now Splinter Cell Conviction is taking a new approach but we all know Fisher cant sneak up behind Snake. Snake would spot him across the world with those 3 green lights he wears on his head, ready his snipe rifle and put one in the mid-vein to the neck of Fisher.
