There's only been one main Mario game after Mario 64, Sunshine. Sure, that one wasn't that godly, but between the Mario Kart series, the great Mario sport games, and even NSMB, Mario is still popular and successful.

Even the sports games usually offeras muchimprovements and changes as your average sequel. The only real offender is Mario Party, which, I'd like to inform everyone that doesn't know, isn't developed by Nintendo.

You DO realize that most of those games are either VC games, remakes on GBA and GBC,and Japanese-only titles for Mario. Mario Typing? That isn't even a Mario game. It just has Mario in it to tell you how to press buttons on a keyboard. This just spilts the true amount of TRUE Mario games in half.
