Samurai Showdown Sen Exclusive to 360 Only.

XSEED Games announced today that it has secured the North American publishing rights to SAMURAI SHODOWN SEN. In a strategic move to further build its profile as a proven independent-minded game publisher across multiple platforms, XSEED Games has partnered with SNK PLAYMORE to release the next installment of the popular arcade fighting game series. Formerly known as SAMURAI SHODOWN: Edge of Destiny, SAMURAI SHODOWN SEN is the latest iteration of the legendary weapons-based fighting series developed by SNK PLAYMORE. The game is in its final production phase and is scheduled for release this spring exclusively for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Yeh doesnt look quite up to Soul Calibur standard. Could be the next Bushido Blade though, haha, that Would rock!

This new Samurai Showdown is being developed by "K2 LLC"...I don't know who that is, but it has me a bit worried.

Judging from the new Developer, it may be a cash in attempt at the Samurai Showdown license by these K2 LLC guys...

This is K2 LLC's first Samurai Showdown game, and the last game they made was Tenchu Z. So, I think that would explain the 360 game exclsuive, they are a small team, and they learned the 360 with Tenchu Z.

I'm looking forward to trying this out at least.

Interesting that the incredibly low install base in Japan wasn't taken into consideration during development.

im no graphics monger like some people but those arent that great. it looks like a first gen ps3 game (give or take) i think maybe they should've gone with HD sprites and kept it 2d. i'll see though, the game might be really good and have a good combat system. i have a feeling its just a timed exclusive

I'm assuming , based on graphics , devs and the image , this a downloadable game right?

I remember playing on the ps1 but then again I'd buy 'alternative' copies and rebuy the original if the game was good , since there are no renting here , in this case I didn't buy the original :lol:

It was originally supposed to be out in January I think, but Ignition dropped it. Probably because of KOFXII.

Even Ignition passed on this one. SNK has gone down the crapper. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
