Well, alot of their better franshises have switched platforms (Panzer Dragoon, and 2K sports stuff come to mind) But there were some great titles that never have been heard from...Nights, Lodoss War (the only good one,) Dragon Force.....Someone needs to at least re-release them multiplat.

The games are too big. Dreamcast GD-ROMs could hold 1.2GB. Both are too big for the VC. The Wii has 512MB of storage, and a CD-ROM holds over 700.

Then I'll pony up $600 for one, pray that Heavenly Sword, NG: Sigma, MGS4, and Killzone 2 go AAA, and that blu-ray wins the format war!

They could remake them for certain consoles. They would be way too big to be on the VC or XBLA.

It would be nice to simply create an emu that could be downloaded for the wii or 360 or even ps3. One that would allow you to take the actual disc and put it into the system and play. I have dozens of saturn and dc games that I still play. It is a drag to have to...drag out my systems and hook them up to play. But there is something to playing on the REAL hardware the game was made for. I thought when the saturn was first announced, the cart slot was going to be for genesis cart bc and then the sega cd's would work in it as well. Rumors still surround the phoenix (segas next home console???) and it being able to pull off those little features of drop and play with old school sega cd, 32x cd, saturn and dc games along with its own games. Be nice if it was true.

Damn I guess there is no chance in hell of me ever buying a wii, well that is unless SSBB goes AAAA and ends up having the best most well balance online multiplayer to date.  That's a fat a** ****ing chance seeing as how not one game in the series has gone AAA and wii's online being well balanced is just

So you buy games based on score and score alone? That's sad...

Completely agree. Right now, I'm use my PC for emu's, but Saturn and DC don't work. I doubt ANYONE could get 100% Saturn emulation in software though.....It was probably the most convoluted design of all time. ---something like 3 CPUs (2 same 1 different) and 2 PPUs (both perform different 2D tasks) + other junk + seperate bus connections that aren't timed correctly. You'd have to emulate stuff that didn't wasn't designed "correctly"

People with the ability to from their own opinions, maybe? A review score is simply an opinion, not the word of God. I buy my games based on how much I enjoy them, not based on how much some total stranger enjoyed them.

Some demos on Xbox live reach 1.2 gigs so it could technically work.

Why are you asking Nintendo Microsoft and Sony? it's not up to them, it's up to SEGA if they want or don't want to do it.

Just buy the actual systems.

I wish Sega made another console. Sega is my all time favorite especially the Genesis and Dreamcast.

Even if SEGA puts downloadable Saturn and Dreamcast games on current gen consoles. They would only be able to put the ones they developed themselves. And they have the SEGA AGES series going, it's just unlikely they will.

There are remakes of their Saturn games going on, but if they don't bother bringing budget minded games then on a super popular console like the PS2, it's unlikely they will now.
