i also dont get how theese mario spin offs do so well ?!?!?!?! i swear i wont be suprised if they come out with a super mario rock band and i bet it would still sell millions .

Name one game that isnt an FPs that has benefited with the Wiimote? Shaking your hand to spin isnt innovation its force feeding a control scheme so it doesnt go to waste.beinss

And I like how they are used in SMG and Strikers. Not too much, but very conveneint. And play MP3 before jumping to any conclusion about the controls.

No, some of the fun unique games are what make wii controls so great. I actually hate the zapper.

Its better on Wii than either GC or PS2, IMO.

Get Trama Center, Z&W, Medal of Honor, No More Heros, Wario, We Love Golf (when it comes out, Mario kart, Brawl (doesnt use the WiiMote but its a GREAT game), Boom Blox (soon). Those are a good start and there are more.

Dont forget that WiiWare rolls out next month and its going to have World of Goo, Strongbad, Lostwinds, and many others.

while i dont agree with what the TC i do think that the wii is a trend and wont last for long, i got tired of mines within a month,

I have most of those, the games just cant keep my attention, I guess I just like playing on my 360 better. The one game i really want on the wii is mario cart. Maybe that will get me to like the wii better.

oh right mr ps3wizard here, is telling me, as a wii owner, that my wii sux, when i think it's awesome? my god go and play one.

Your right, that is what its like.

When I was little I never had any video games. (my first was Nintendo 64) I used something called my imagination, I ran around with a stick fighting my friends in mock epic battles as we saved princesses and slew dragons. Something about the controls of thet Wii really brings me back there to my childhood days of yore, swinging the Wiimote doesnt really replace that stick, but it comes a lot closer than pushing buttons ever will.

As for the spin-offs, well they need some way of making money, and honestly its better than putting advertising in thier games (glares at Pikmin)

I think it's innovative for other reasons.

The TV remote does not impress me at all.

They made a Mario DDR, a "Mushroom Kingdom Hero" is bound to happen.

Anyways, the controls on wii games are amazing when done right.

MP3, RE4, Twilight Princess and No More Heroes are great examples on how the wii controls made the game much better
